Interesting gait there on young O’Sullivan - what do I know (nothing) but interested to hear from anyone knowledgeable on the biomechanics. Is it the young bones growing faster than the muscle & sinews? Seems to my uneducated eyes that her levers/height are making up for limited hip extension - given her maturation expect some more gears in there. Competition beware!

Yes 1.57.86 some 7 seconds faster. Maybe Phoebe has just developed earlier as has been running for many years? However see how they all run in the Olympics?

That was so easy for Hodgkinson - She was the youngest in the race I believe - Only 16. Splits suggest she can go a fair bit faster too.

Her mom ran similar. Didn't seem to affect too negatively, but it is awkaward to watch.
