    The secret to winning indoors is to have the lead with one lap to go. It's nearly impossible to get passed with two tight curves and a short homestretch in the last 200m.

      @@fox570808 the poles rebuffed the "good race" sportsmanship from the winner that is typical after the race. Go watch it again. The Poles weren't accepting them.

      @@S0ulinth3machin3 They were both concentrated on themselves, coming back from "nowhere" after two years of struggling to cure their bad injuries. It had nothing to do with the British girl. It's easy to judge while sitting in an armchair in front of the TV set

      @@fox570808 just my opinion. It's common after any race to acknowledge one's competitors in track and field. I notice that you're Polish. I suspect that may color your judgement in this situation. I have great admiration for some Poles in history, such as the First Polish Armored Division in the Battle of the Falaise Gap, Witold Piletski (one of the bravest humans ever), or the citizens of Warsaw in the Uprising of summer, 1944. These 2 Polish track and field runners, not so much. Even if you're correct, they are very self absorbed at best, poor sports at worst.

    Unsportsmanlike attitude of the Polish runners, didn't even acknowledge the British runner Hodgkinson when she was given a tap as a gesture of congratulations. Bitter and arrogant as far as I'm concerned.

    If the men's race had turned out like this we would have seen a time of 1:50. People aren't noticing how slow this final was.

      @@jensmith3719 So? If the men's race was won in 1:50 people would be all around screaming and calling the athletes pussies for running such a slow time and not being brave for risking a loss to run a PR or a faster time. None of this happened for this race, which was won in 2:03.

      @@timmytheinventor4746 Don't be daft! The 2016 Olympic 1500m final was very, very slow but a great race! Because there are no pacemakers in championship races that makes it more of a lottery.,.. and more exciting. As it happens, we now know that Keely runs great off any sort of pace.

      Your statement makes no sense. For starters I think you are referring to bodyfat %, not BMI, as BMI is not measured by %, but kg/m^2. These ladies would each have no less than 12% bodyfat each.
