When Keely won silver, wondered if she was just a young runner having the meet and race of her life. But she’s clearly the real deal. Very exciting prospect.
Seriously? When she won that Olympic Silver medal, it was in a new national record time of 1:55.88 and she was just 19 years old at the time. That is, of course, after having run two other rounds. You don't get to be a flash in the pan running that fast and at that age. Aged just 21, as I write, she is established and a lot more than a prospect. Fingers crossed she remains free of serious injuries.
I'm still not decided on Budapest. Fabulous city. I've spent a lot of time there so I really should go and enjoy 10 days of their lovely summer weather.
Yeah, compare it to the Spanish girl who fell exhausted as soon as she crossed the line to make it 5th. Keely looked like she was back from a walk in the park
There’s no one in Europe who’s a match for Keely so I was looking forward to the Olympics to see her vs my vs everyone e else including Mary Moraa: my it seems is out so less drama this year again.
Very beautiful girl, huge athlete, one of the most perfect stride i ever seen in my life, i compare her style with David Rudisha, extraordinary performance !🎉🎉🎉
Even though Keely set a 600m indoor best in the 2023 indoor season, and gapped this field, surely after the Paris Diamond League race, where she gapped a much stronger field by quite a bit more, we can now safely say that she has moved on to a higher level. Expect 1min 54sec at some point this Summer.
not really, look at it this way. she put in the most work, trraining, miles etc. Therefore this was nothing compared to the work leading up to this moment(BIG moment)
Because 1:58 was not her limit The runners have not run under 2 minutes or close to it So they were giving their all 158 is a jog for the likes of Hodgkinson and Mu
Stop trying to cast doubt on Keely's performance. She's run 1:55 and 1:56 outdoors in the last 2 years and was the only runner in this field who had run sub 2 minutes during the indoor season. The fact that she recovered quicker than the rest is nothing to point fingers of accusation at.
Yeah, compare it to the Spanish girl who fell exhausted as soon as she crossed the line to make it 5th. Keely looked like she was back from a walk in the park
Chill. Focus on the athletic accomplishments. These athletes don’t need randos commenting on their looks when they’re at the top of their field athletically.
Oh please. My comment was not crass, so you guys chill. As for the race, Keely continues to progress. She took Athing Mu to the limit. Looking forward to them facing each other in the outdoor season.
Superb job!! It's so great to see young women athletes representing their countries. In America, when our athletes win a race, they don the flag of Mexico instead of the U.S. I don't even watch US teams compete any more. Well done ladies!!
@@tobyk8125 I'm blithering on about how its great to see young athletes proud to represent their country. We don't seem to have much of that anymore in the US. Our athletes take a knee during the anthem; or they grab a flag of a different country when they do their victory lap; stuff like that (Leo Manzano comes to mind). These actions make it hard to support US athletics so I love watching athletes from foreign countries and their pride in representing.
That's a result of America being undermined on purpose. The world elites want to fundamentally change America because they don't want any country that has the motto, "In God we trust" to survive. They successfully infiltrated our government so they could make sure nothing substantive would be done about the invasion going on.
@@reallifehack4790 You obviously didn't look up Leo Manzano. I can whine all I want about ungrateful little bitches. I still watch the olympics from time to time, I just don't cheer for the US teams anymore.
It’s easy to talk crap when the best in the world (when healthy) is not at 100% because of a hamstring injury. Otherwise you all would be extremely quiet if Athing Mu was at full strength. It’s the same thing as Bol winning the worlds when Sydney was hurt.

She is awesome to watch running. She should be the winner at the Olympics this year.
This a a magnificent example of front running which often results in being overtaken in the final lap. Well done Keely. 👏👏👏
What a great runner. long may she reign...
She puts them all under pressure from the start and doesn't let up. Must be hoirrible to run against!

She won outdoors silver twice, at olympics and WC

Her Final kicks look so effortless
I hope she will step up her mileage one day and attempt the 800m/1.500m double at Worlds her form is so swift
Keely is poetry in motion, and clearly a very pleasant filly. Watch out Arthur Moo!
Great run by Keely burning off the opposition with a blistering pace,No cheeky boxed in losing problems there 🙂

It took thirty years, but the leotard is back baby! Hell yes!
Thirty years?.

Why are they all so pretty ?
They look after their bodies.
Europeans...it's in their genes🤷
They got lucky 😂
Because they are not fat
I reckon 800m to 3000m distances are the best events for looking fit. Marathon runners are always too skinny.
great job Keely
Hodgkinson is my fav here
Gutsy performance out on her own. Sub 2! World class👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

She will need World and/or Olympic gold and a longer career before that is a possibility.
