That’s awesome! I actually just made another video of the Kyosho First Mini Z. This time It’s a full unboxing of the Subaru KEI truck. That video will come out next Thursday! Hope you enjoyed this one and thanks for watching! Do you have any First Mini Zs?
@@hobby-cantina Feel free to try this with a rechargable 14500 lithium ion cell in place of the two aa batteries, should give it some more speed & torque while making it lighter. Was pretty popular to do with the Auldey race tin cars back about 10-ish years ago. Ofc you need to complete the connection on the other side with a single 14500 cell but just use a wire soldered in place or maybe something like a wood pencil cut to size & some aluminium foil. Maximum voltage the board takes is likely going to be 5 - 6v at best as well.
@ I think I might have one! That’s a good idea. I will have to look up the Auldey race tin cars too. I think I remember those. I had quite a few of those cars that are like the Zip Zaps. Not sure what they were called back in the day. I could have sworn they were something…. Z. Thanks for the expert tip! Thanks for watching too!
Awesome! Welcome to Hobby Cantina. Thanks for subscribing and watching! Let me know if you have any suggestions on what RC stuff you want to see tested out.
I've been waiting for a video about this car!

The Palm Runner is still alive with those "First Mini-Z" series 😊😊
Right? I have always wanted to order a retro palm runner but maybe this will do! Totally still alive! Same box too.
Thanks for watching!
Do you have one of The Palm Runners?
❤ Great video! The tiny size makes it extra fun!
Thank you ! The Kyosho mini z are the best tiny size rc cars for sure!

Can u swap the body to a regular mini z?
Yes! You have to change the front clip mount on the ma020 Mini Z. I will try it out and see if it works too.
