Yes it is! Even when I think I’m not in a beautiful spot it turns out to be better than the next. I actually just got a Tamiya Lunchbox to build and I’m thinking I might paint the body on it. Right? The scale on it is fantastic. It is extremely fast but you’re definitely in control once you get it dialed in on the transmitter. Beach cruiser and 3S would be awesome! You live by the beach?

@@hobby-cantina nah my state has everything from lower elevation mountains to beaches though (NC). My neighborhood is not large enough for many 50mph hits. More in the 25-35 range so right at 2s speeds. Currently have an arrma big rock 3s that regularly hits 50 bone stock on 3s and is just too much speed for my exact area. May end up getting a madvan this year sometime. Really dig it.

That’s awesome I’m very familiar with your area. I grew up in Georgia. I’m actually moving to SC soon. Kind of near the Summerville area. Well in about a year I will be moving there. You have alot of good parks out there too! I still don’t own any Arrma vehicles yet! I really want the Mojave. Not sure which one though. If you get the Kyosho you will enjoy it a lot. Especially on the street too. Only at 2s haha.

Right? It really was a cool area. I look forward to exploring the entire area the rest of my life because it’s that vast! Haha

Highly recommend it. It drives nice and what it comes with is perfect. The body release system on it is an upgrade to the K5 Blazer. The K5 Blazer is awesome in its own way though!

I think it looks awesome too! Yeah stock and it handles amazing right out of the box. I definitely need to add a little weight and it might be the best 1/10 scale trail truck/crawler I have. I wish it came with Utah plates. I would have already had them on there haha. I guess I will have to make some. They gave all the other states around Utah haha. You ever go to Utah or live near? @@hobby-cantina No, I'm from Ontario, Canada. Utah is just a dream for me and my wife, but we've never been. I watch a lot of Matt's Offroad Recovery and I see a lot of beautiful scenery in his videos. Utah seems like a great place to live compared to here. haha Cheers!

@ I have been to Ontario once when I was younger. I don’t remember it very well! Always wanted to go back. Utah is great! We don’t have much snow right now though unfortunately. I have watched Matts Off Road plenty of times! Really good stuff. If you come to Utah go to Southern Utah. You will enjoy the National Parks and how you can drive from one to the next. That’s the best area to visit! Never ending public land to camp on and explore! Hopefully I will get to Ontario soon. I like to ski and the mountains. Northern Utah where I’m at it is much more like where you live. Cheers!

That’s some really good information! I love mine too but it definitely needs some weight and I wasn’t totally sure what to add. The Yeah Racing metal axles looks like what I need to get. I think the scale on them is awesome! Some of the best looking mini crawlers out there. I’m definitely picking up some of those axles. Thanks for all of that info. Did you ever find any good tires that would work?

​​@@hobby-cantina​ No problem. And as far as tires I haven't found anything aftermarket yet, but I did order the wheels/tires that come on the new versions of the 4runner. They have a more agressive tread pattern than Nitto tires you and I have currently. I like that they are stock because they're guaranteed to fit and not be too heavy for the servo. Google "Kyosho Interco Super Swamper". They have weighted and non-weighted versions, I opted for the non-weighted. I also got 4mm spacers to push the wheels out for more stability. Im adding the majority of my weight through metal aftermarket suspension components like upper and lower links, shocks, steering link. Hope this helps

The LC80 is awesome! It really does look great with that terrain for sure. It just randomly flips on me haha. The thing definitely has some speed to it. I want to get one of the smaller ones soon. Do you have any FMS Vehicles?

Yes! You have to change the front clip mount on the ma020 Mini Z. I will try it out and see if it works too.

Thanks! Oh I use a DJI Osmo Pocket 3. I use that for everything when I’m talking to the camera. If I’m getting up close and just have music in the background it’s my I phone 13. For the sound I use dji microphone. I also have Rode Wireless microphone as well. They both work excellent. I was honestly lucky that day I was recording. I’m usually dealing with a lot of wind. Yeah I am impressed with what this little Kyosho is capable of. It’s insane! I wish they did too. I really like how well they design the bodies on these RC vehicles. What’s your favorite mini crawler you have?

@ at the moment i only have the jeep rubicon and the axial UTB18. The UTB has injora brass so it climbs almost everything, so id say the UTB right now. But i plan to get fms 1/18 scale soon.

@ That’s awesome! I want one of those UTB for sure. I need to pick up some brass for a few as well. I think I might get the Jeep next but only because they have dropped the price so low right now on them.

Yeah they definitely are getting a lot better. I only have one crawler that is good at low speeds. I guess we will have to wait or do upgrades! What’s your favorite mini crawler brand?

That was the other color I wanted! Really is a great truck! It’s my favorite trail truck and I like how it’s bigger than most that I have in that scale! Super capable for sure.

I remember those! I think someone else was just saying the same thing about the palm runners! I use to get these micro Z ones back in the day. I think that’s what they were called. That’s cool that you can put the body on a regular mini z. I will have to try and figure that out!
