- I just bought this brand new 169$ wireless Lavalier mic from amazon. Worked fine the first minute and cut out the rest of the day filming. So there is no audio for the foraging portion of the video. I'm very sorry but I hope you can still enjoy the video!
I do not recommend this wireless lav mic but let me know if you have any recommendations on the BETTER one. Thanks!

I don't see any comments talking about the dedication that you put into this video with this voice over. I have mad respect for you.
Here in Spain to tenderize the octopus we freeze it, and then to avoid it losing the skin we "scare" it, dipping it in the boiling water and taking it out for a few seconds, repeating this for three times more or less, and then boiling it at low heat for 30-45 min for a 2-4 pounder. The result is a tender, and kind of slimy meat which is very appreciated here. For more info google "pulpo a la gallega" which means more or less, Galician style octopus. It is served with the greenest olive oil, sliced boiled (in the octopus water) potatoes and sweet paprika.
wait how do you kill the octopus

Avocado cutting skills on point
He's a sushi chef. He cuts stuff all day.
Seriously, your talent as a sushi chef + your enjoyment of foraging and skills in video editing make you really unique from other channels I’ve seen. I’m really looking forward to everything you produce in the future :)
I guess im randomly asking but does someone know of a trick to log back into an Instagram account..?
I stupidly lost the password. I love any help you can give me
@Judah Dario instablaster ;)
@Ben Jay I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site on google and I'm trying it out atm.
I see it takes a while so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
@Ben Jay It did the trick and I actually got access to my account again. I'm so happy!
Thanks so much, you saved my ass !
@Judah Dario glad I could help =)
the precise avocado cutting just made me internally happy!!
You really saved this video with tasteful music, perfect low volume, and well done voice over. You’re an awesome RUclipsr, but I appreciate your humility and heartfelt thanks to your viewers. Your catch and cook is always fascinating even to this vegetarian lol
Pro tip for agua chile: rest the onions in lime juice as you prepare everything else so that you reduce the strong onion flavor
Dude, out of all the catch and cook channels, you have the best cooking, HANDS DOWN! Super impressive. Also, really happy to see the good knife technique. I’ll watch some other channels and I freak out over how they handle knives lol. Great vid, as always!
Austin Newman
i cannot watch this when i am hungry
He's a proper sushi restaurant chef
I can see RUclips algorithm is finally giving me better videos. I’m about to binge watch all your videos.

Sara Baker Not so much respect as the law.
the sound, the music choice, and your soothing voice really makes these videos perfect. I especially like how it's not a "in your voice" youtube personality too, just a chill kind of vibe
I love learning about all of the edible ocean life. Thank you again for doing your videos, I think it’s great to learn about what it is you’re cooking and not just watching you cook

I know of desert foraging etc in the Arizona deserts, but these coastal finds are incredibly abundant
There are things to forage in the deserts? I guess ive never really gone anywhere remote
I couldn't care less if its not technically ceviche it looks delicious!
Refreshing to see "couldn't care less" actually spelled correctly!
@@tastyneck yeah, "could care less" is a trigger phrase for me
I am from Ecuador. Ceviche is not always a raw marinate. The fish is cooked

My favorite videos on yt and I don’t even live by da ocean or eat sushi but this stuff makes you appreciate it, realize it’s a art
Hi Taku, thanks for all these great videos. Learning a lot about foraging the sea and will use this knowledge when I start my semi retirement travels next year. Side note: my son (20) and I (62) just returned from two weeks of snorkeling in La Paz, BCS. The seafood there is amazing. We had wood fire grilled whole octopus and also ceviche of octopus, clams, shrimp and fish.
Learning so much about how to forage the sea and how you prepare these delicacies. Keep'm coming very much appreciated. Oh...when we left San Jose de Cabo airport it was 28 and when we landed in Winnipeg Manitoba it was -30, back to reality. Steve, Ste Anne, MB, Canada
Just found you. I absolutely love your videos. If I could I would only eat raw & some cooked fish.
Till this day, I still thank the RUclips 3am Algorithm God for introducing your channel
