    Thanks for this idea! I'm gonna need this. I'm gonna make 'em with recycled materials to avoid the creation of new stuff 😉✨

    What light are you using and what do you recommend? I was looking at the sl60w

    • @SNYEFILMS
      @SNYEFILMS  4 года назад +1

      The sl60w would be a good choice. The softbox I am using has the standard bulb outlets so I'm using these 105W 5500K fluorescent bulbs: amzn.to/2ZwjzGh

      ProDSLR does this color temperature give white light or more towards yellow

      5500k is daylight so it’s a clean white

    What does this even do? The differences are so subtle that it makes you wonder if i'ts worth the hassle or money.

      It reduces the light spill. You can see what it does by watching part 0:37 to 0:45. Pay attention to the wall in the background and see the difference before and after. Normally you would have to use extra c stands, cutters, flags to prevent the light from hitting on that wall. By using this grid you are controlling the light without a need for extra tools. Snapgrid sells improved, pro versions of this for a few hundred dollars to thousands of dollars. If you are on a tight budget you can make this thing in an hour or two and spend that money on another tool you need but if the money is not a concern, sure you can save time and purchase a better, pro version of this. I hope this helped you to understand what it does.

    Great Video for people who want to save money and still get a professional result - A softbox grid (Little note about your music for the opener, the drum loop is terribly out of rhythm :-)
