assorted misc adpaters... Buy a kit for cheap. 1/2 to 3/4, screws... carry a little bag of those and you'll sleep like an angel.

@ yessss those little kits can literally save the day! I have a kit with 1/4-20 and 3/8” thumb screws as well as adapters and bushings for both sizes. Makes a huge difference!

Thank UnlockFilm for this INFORMATIVE video. The gears that help me are Sprigs, Vivitar diopters , acrylic mirror, (You bought this and the Vivitar diopters to my atention), A clamps, and Ifootage mini tripod.

    Thanks for the video.
Incidently, I own a few ifootage products (Spider Arm, travel tripod) and the quality for each is fantastic. Very sturdy and well built. So I’m not too surprised about the build quality of this small tripod.
But my favourite from your suggestions has got to be the BlackWrap. But I try and make it last as it isn’t cheap so I keep re-cycling it where I can.
    👍

Thank you for checking it out! That’s really interesting, I had never heard of ifootage until that little tripod and I’m beyond impressed. I’ll have to check out some of their other things since you can vouch for it.
Black wrap is so underrated and incredibly useful! Definitely recycle it and don’t throw it away. I’ve had the same 50’ roll for over almost 2 years from keeping all the large bits.

    Hey Axel,
Great video again, please keep sharing the knowledge.
My favourite inexpensive gear is the two budget shower curtains what I got a few months ago. I tuned up on a client interview with my poxy Godox SL60Ws and the sun decided to flex his rays through the windows 😂 Needed to find an instant solution so ran to next door building supply shop and bought 2 cheap white shower curtains to block out some of the lights from the window. They cost me 25 Polish Zloty (roughly $6) and saved my day. 😂
Regarding your #8, I went a step further 😂 Spit on the sensor accidentally than tried to remove it with my finger in the middle of the panic 😂

That’s some quick thinking to grab a couple shower curtains to cut the sunlight down! Most people would have just blocked it out entirely so it’s great you used it to your advantage. Sunlight has always been a huge challenge, especially when you’re not able to scout the location ahead of time and didn’t bring big lights to fight it.
Using your finger to wipe away the spit on your sensor seems to be the knee jerk reaction 🤣

Can I ask you about your video color grading? It happens that I have a 4k ips monitor and seems to me that most good produced videos looks whitewashed. I have a youtube extension "youtube enhancer" to add some contrast *115* and saturation *105*. Would you be so cool to try the extension and apply the filters to see if you think it looks better? I'm worried that my monitor is not good enough, but at this point I'm not sure if youtube applies some normalization or is just my personal taste.

Interesting I’ve never heard of RUclips enhancer. Have you tried using a phone and/or other devices to cross reference? When I’m skeptical of my monitor I like to use at least 3 different devices to compare color, saturation and contrast.

check your monitor's manual and adjust the display settings of the monitor through the buttons on it

super guilty of blowing on the sensor...even though I have one of those rocket blowers. Going to look into getting that flag kit, looks pretty clutch.

I’m in the camp that there’s two types of people. Those who have done it and those that lie about it 🤣
The Impact kit is sweet man, especially for small spaces. If you pick one up, make sure you keep the nets away from the hook side of the Velcro on the case. They can get snagged if you’re not careful

      @ hahah. Agreed.
Thanks I will keep that in mind!
