FAPuture 120D Mark II?!
Lol 😂🤣 I hope to get good at videos like you. I love learned a lot so far thanks so much for the videos. Very informative.
lol
uhhhjhjhhh
We need it😂😂
Check out a godox sl60w
He was so confident in his work that he didn't do a side by side comparison.
There is a Daniel Sheiffer video where he makes one with a cake pan and also compares it to the Aputure, check it out!
There's beauty in being broke.
It’s cuz of the jazz music
"The Power of Broke" - Daymond John
the beauty of being broke as hell
There’s beauty in being broke with a dream, otherwise it’s not beautiful. It sucks lol
It so is 💖💕💗💞🌸💓💜
This is encouraging. Your words touched me : “don’t make excuses...” I actually bought a cannon this yr, and could afford this light BUT I haven’t gotten into making films or vlogs etc bc of FEAR - but even then others who are in the hustle and don’t have the resources go at it without excuses. Very inspirational for me. Cheers.
"damn, Broke already" me after having just receiving my paycheck
Underrated comment
😂😂😂😂
I definitely love the creative builds you do within your channel. Looking back at your earlier videos I think these types of videos are really appreciated in the filming community. Keeps these coming! I got some coming myself hope to share them with you.
WOW. I mean, props for putting this video out. People need to see stuff like this so that they don't feel bad about their own hacks, because to me, this video is way more fun to watch than almost any of the other DIY lights on RUclips. I'm still doing something similar to this because I have my money tied in in things like buying food. It's the final result that counts!
That is hilarious. Can you imagine showing up to a shoot with that monstrosity. Your subject and or client would be hilariously horrified.
Until they see the finished project and say "THAT BOI GOOD", LOLOL.
Lmao man I was just thinking about that. Lol it looks fun tho.
@@lilrizq Yup but most time they care more for the BTS than the final image ( insane) LOL
only do this when youre starting. You dont have the equipment but you do have the passion and the skill. why let stuff like expensive gear stop you from producing great quality video? shoot with cheap, make money, save up, buy expensive equipment, charge more, save money, buy even more expensive equipment... oh and when your expensive equipment fails on you now you know how to build a backup lol
😂... I use did reading this!
You know what, I'll take that challenge on. I'll make the Faputure 120D Mark II.
This is by far my favorite video you've ever posted. It seemed so raw and fun and funny.
I love it let me know once the kickstater is up ill buy 3
I was cracking up at the slowmo b-roll of the light you made 😂 I've done some crazy DIY stuff myself but this was wild lol
We definitely need this kind of videos!!, awesome job bro!!
Bravo on the attempt! You really CAN make it happen. Want even cheaper and easier? Clamp the light to a stand and hang the whole shower curtain in front of it. Nice, big, soft source (though it does take 2 stands).
Ha that's cool for sure....I don't even diffuse DIY lights (of which I have many) I just enclose them and point bounce them off anything white like the wall or a board. That's a big pro tip right there :)
Another great video brother, keep it up my g!!!!
I love your enthusiasm and encouragement
SO clever! Thank you for sharing!
That is so cool that you had so much fun and getting back to your beginnings man! I think the best thing is that you tapped back into how you started. I mean look at you bro, 500k + followers and you are still reconnecting with your beginnings. Dude! An umbrella!!!! That is such a genius idea! I never thought about that!!
Awesome. Nothing better than a self made light. It’s all about creating things. Appreciate your content.
Love it ! You are too cool. Thanks for helping those that need the help!
Dude, love your vibe. You seem REAL! Subscribed less than halfway through this vid.
This. Is. GENIUS!
Lol Tape City!
Awesome creativity. Thanks for sharing.
Fugazzi Dome Mini! HAHAHA.
Loved this video dude. Love this kind of DIY thinking.
you really entertained me with this video😂🤣😂😂i took this same route years ago with a pvc shoulder rig. cost walmart about ..... more than a real entry level one nowadays. but still a good lesson to work with what you have. .. an be resourcefull without "money"💪🏻
This one was hilarious. It was different from your other videos for sure. Keep doing your thang! 🤟🏼👊🏼📸.
Yo the bottom line is... this thing works. For any person either too cheap to spend dough or honestly cannot afford real lighting equipment, this is a sure option. As ugly as it is. If it works... it works. Good you had fun along the way.
I loved the commitment, I could definitely tell you were enjoying this
Love this vid. Making it possible for dreamers out there
Omg i had to give you the like. Great seeing you back to the basics
I love your stuff man! lol you kick ass!
I’m dead. Thank you. Really love watching your videos. Tips tricks on point. Thanks!
You rock! Thanks for the idea. Sometimes the idea is more important than the execution.
I. LOVE. YOUR. VIDEOS, man. 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼💗
You really are the GOAT brodie!!
I made a smaller version with (initially) a worklight which I later replaced with a regular LED bulb suspended from an overhead bar. The dome had as it’s frame a styrofoam (pressure cooker) box lining around which I wrapped some reflective strip-cut dashboard protector. Used hot glue and bad sewing to wrap it in black cloth and used thin curtain lining as diffuser. Works a charm, but doesn’t have the rugged gaffers tape charm of yours, bro!😜 Absolutely loved this.
Love it. I thought about the umbrella and also lining with metalic material. Will let you know. Loved your video, very helpful!
I lol'd when you showed the first look of it. The name is hilarious too. Awesome man! Thanks for the tips.
It actually looks awesome
Super clutch bro. Good looking! 🤑💯
Cool idea.
I followed your concept
I took Flirz and baking soda to polish the dish the with time I got a near mirror finish.
The LED Bulb go to a hardware store better options I found a Flame light cool look!
When making the bowl score cut the card board on the INSIDE.this will help it curl easier
Loved the enthusiasm & ingenuity! As an indie film maker myself it was great to see
Thank you. Loved this.
This was awesome! Thank you
This was sooo inspirational!!! And the bottom line is that it worked!!! Mission accomplished.
You are always finding us ways to save money! This I why I LOVE your channel.
Awesome! Can't agree with you more about rockin' what yo got!
My kid wants to make videos so I am building her some lights, I wish I could afford to buy some, but who knows maybe she’ll make it big and be able to buy her own! This was a big help, and you are awesome, thanks!
Love your content! U give me so much inspiration. Im up and coming and u are my lowkey mentor thanks!
same bro! ill shoot you a follow and support!
Very cool! I am inspired! Thanks!
thank you so much, this inspired me to implement this idea but with some improvements but still the same concept, I used cardboard and some aluminium sheets and the results was fantastic... thanks man!
This is great! Thanks man
Haha love this bro. I wanna make one 🔥
I am making one!!! Thank you bro you have been very inspired!!
Very fun video bro! Keep it up! Good value.
The Faputure is a work of art!
This felt very refreshing. Thanks man!! :-)
This was awesome!
This was so helpful! Thank u so much! Any suggestions on a camera I should buy as a beginner photographer on a budget?
I just made this using aluminum roasting pan & posted it on my channel without color correction at all. only used this single light and it came out amazing! used GH5 w $130 1.7 25mm lens. I wont be lugging my aputure 120 around anymore!
That was awesome, sure I laughed hard at the beauty shots of this thing but it’s a great reminder to be resourceful and not live outside your means while still achieving creativity. Solid!
Outstanding video and premise!
I've been waiting for this one hahah
This is brilliant 🤗
Great video bro.......keep having fun at what u do bro!!!
Bro! Super inspiring! I made the same thing I just used a beer box with cardboard cut a hole and put a shower curtain in front of it. I got real lights now but it was kinda fun just working with whatever you could find.
This is genius!
This was a good video. Folks forget you can DIY your own filmmaking tools. Your final look was really good.
There’s no greater mind than a creative’s mind 😂👊🏾
YC dropping heat for us peasants. Appreciate it!!
Even as goofy as it is, thank you for looking out for the music video people that don’t have the money. Much appreciated
I made something just like this. Glad you stuck it out and posted the vid even though you know it didn't work very well.
That's some creative stuff there. Cooooool one bro...
Another quick way to get nice and soft light is to just point that led thing towards the wall/ceiling which then acts as a diffuser. Works Fantastic compared to the harsh light you get with no diffusion.
Also we do have umbrella lightning setup for $40 budget on Amazon...
thats cool.. thanks for the ideas.. i have done this type of lighting since 2000.. but i didnt use lights that much.. things get better as we go along :)
The broll of that light had me dead😂
Bro look like he bout to broil chicken
nice slow mo, panning and everything on it. so freaking funny.
Carl Gregory i know right 😂
YoungBlaze HA
Hahaha
I respect this video on many levels
@YCImaging
Bro you could have used:
-An umbrella
-Gorilla or Duc tape
-That can light or 3 cheap flash lights
-A flood LED light.
-Aluminum foil
-a broom stick or cheap mop stick
-something that can act as a tough base to hold the broom up straight that's cheap.
-White hazy shower curtains
-batteries from the dollar store (if you get the flashlights)
And think that's everything.
Too funny...but I give you mad props for your humility. Just imagine showing up to your first shoot with that LOL.
IM ALL OVER THIS VIDEO RN
GHETTTTTOOOO Rig all day! Love it! Straight up MacGyver
There are a ton of people who have done something like this...myself included. Much love. Thnx.
So much quality on this channel
Appreciate that!
Those work lights bring back memories. "Faputure" is also hilarious. Great video.
Thanks Sean!
*NOW THIS IM GOING TO TRY*
Oh man, I died laughing... it's so dope! Can't wait to see the FAPuture 120D MK II or you can boost the output and go straight to the CRAputure 500D MK VI. Love your videos and glad you had fun making this and we all had fun watching it. Keep on being so cool man.
“Fapurture 120d with Fugazzi Dome mini” 7:00 ......LOLz😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Awesome name, Love it!
love this one bro
Bro yooo Amazing & thanksssss man
Yes we must see a Mark II!!
Actually works great :)
nicee one broo. I love you channel! I am an artis editing his own music videos because of budget and your videos sure help me a lot!! thanks so much!
Love it mate! I mean it looks horrendous and bound to be a fire hazard but I truly appreciate some ingenuity and DIY in a field as materialistic as videography. Keep at it!
The looks i get from my wife when i have these random ideas is the same look she gave the phone when she saw all that tape lol. Awesome vid as always bro. Thanks for sharing. The end result from a lighting standpoint is pretty damn good.
Nice job on your makeshift lighting
I'll try this!!! Thank you!!!!!
That was pretty inspiring
love it haha I'm def making one just for fun!
😂 the hustle is real! Enjoyed this video 🤘🏽 do what you gotta do to get the results!
If you use a smart bulb in this setup, you can then have features like dimming and temperature control. Thanks for this tutorial!
I wonder if that light bounced off foam core would work better for less money. Or spend a hair more and use an adorama glow 20" with the light. Fun idea for a rainy day
I got 2 yongnuo yn360's and am getting the Al-MX soon. They've been doing a good job, but I can't wait for the MX
