I have one 206 with the same motor too, Congratulations my friend for your courage ... I think do the same in mine too but is not easy work on this cars because their don't have any space!
Do you have any video about the intercooler update? because this motor don't have intercooler.
No sadly I did that before I started youtube but in the future I will redo the intercooler. Install a bigger one and better intercooler piping.

hi, i started reprogramming in 2006, it was my first car.
Original turbo I was able to go up to 157hp 355nm at 1Bar2. (20psi)
With a Gt17 Garet Hybrid turbo you can increase it to 195hp and 400nm, but you need perfect management.
Im going to put on a GTB2060V, it can handle upto 300 but im aiming for 220/230. If you want over that then i think i have to upgrade the internals

On tdi it is already loaded at 2750rpm,
The original internals on this engine hold up to 1Bar60-1bar70
It can be really limited.
You will need 1600cc HDI injectors (1650Bar) and a 2.2 HDI pump

that looked like a lot of work to change that turbo, makes me feel lucky how easy I have it on my 207.
I use heat to help crack those Bolt's they are very tight and rusty.
Nice one! That's a hell of an improvement. Let's see how the rest handles it. Intercooler piping could suffer a bit. I had already replaced them on my 2 diesels - one has a repro.

Just come across this video, I used to mess around with Peugeot 306 Hdi and XUD. Really good effort you’ve put it, have you run it in yet how does it feel to drive at full boost?
It drives great. Still need to tune it though. It ran 1.5 bar before and now it sits at 1.2 bar but its just as fast so thats a good sign of the new turbo doing its job i guess. This summer i will start tuning it.
Have you uprated the clutch? I ran a berlingo clutch on stage 2 to keep up with the torque the only thing holding it back was my fuel pump which I believe would need a BMW 530d pump plus a walbro in tank pump.
Wouldn't mind doing similar with my 308 SW. Mine is a 16V though so I also have EGR and DPF to contend with (by that I mean delete).
Also, I swear the Dutch speak better English than the English! (I'm English 😂)

Goed gedaan man, mooi resultaat!! Mooie fix voor de niet aansluitende bevestiging van de boostpijp. Ik had hetzelfde probleem met de twee bevestigings beugeltjes van de waterleidingen van mijn hybride turbo. Moet een soortgelijke fix doen maar ben daar te lui voor. En remblokken, motorblokken en sportkoppelingen moet je absoluut een paar honderd kilometer inrijden maar een turbo niet hoor...je kan 'm het beste wel even primen met een spuitje olie alvorens de eerste keer starten maar als alles warm is kan je de turbo meteen vol op de flikker geven hoor lol
Toffe content man! Misschien komen we elkaar nog een keer tegen in de buurt. =D
respect dat je het maar even doet wat ik niet begrijp is hoe onthoud je alles om alles weer op de juiste plek terug te zetten/schroeven
Hey leuk dat je de video hebt gekeken. Ik heb wat plastic zakjes gepakt en dan per bout of set boutjes een zakje en daarop geschreven wat wat is. Geen idee hoe andere mensen dat doen, dit was ook de eerste keer dat ik het moest doen omdat de bouten idd wel op de goede plek terug moeten.

I gotta do something like that on my Xantia with DW10, I think the turbo leaks oil, Im getting some into the intake.. Haynes manual only says remove engine out of the car to get access to the turbo, I'll check if I can get there over the subframe. Thanks! Hope it will work for a long time since you closed the EGR. Just watch for any rust on the underbody of the car itself, mostly inside and around wheelarches and you're good for long👍
Might be a silly one.. but is it a 1.4 or 1.1 or 1.6? I'm about to get mine which would be a 1.4. Heard these can be modified quite well.

You should have changed the oil, before you started the engine with new turbo, so it would last longer and break in better.
Oil was changed short before this, also put some oil in the turbo when it was out of the car, so I think it will be fine like this.

I would't know wich is a good one but if you search for "peugeot 206 multimedia" (or radio) then you will find it. But you have to look at the reviews if they are any good I would recommend.

If you don't remap the power will be exactly the same, you could also damage the engine

How does the engine handle these 200 horses? Have you broken any pistons or something?
Well after a year, in one day the turbo blew and right after i drove through a deep puddle and the engine sucked up water and that was the end of story for turbo and engine😅. I already put a new engine in and a big turbo upgrade is on the way. I think the last turbo blew from overboosting for too long. As for the engine, it can handle 220/230hp before you have to upgrade the internals i believe

Good job. I tuned 2.0hdi with a factory turbine up to 180hp. I'm very interested in whether you were able to tune in to more than 200hp, but I did not find such a video from you.
Still need to take it to the dyno, had some problems with the car recently so i have to fix some things before i can dyno it

what you do to get that horsepower
i wanted to put a turbo in my citroen xsara also , but didnt know how , now i see you attach it dirrectly to exhaust manufold which is a bit ingenious... did you manifacture the intake pipe yourself? and where do you get the oil lines from in and out?
This is how the turbo sits on a 206 hdi, directly on the exhaust manifold. It is just the stock manifold. With this turbo i could reuse the oil lines. Wich intake pipe do you mean?

Vind een standaard 2.0 hdi in een 206 al lekker rijden met zn hoge koppel, maar dit moet natuurlijk een kanon zijn! Maar moet je ook geen andere injectoren hebben en een tune om de 200 pk eruit te kunnen halen?
Nee wel een andere dieselpomp (boschr70), die komt er nog in

Thats awsome, I got a peugeot partner, dw10td engine same as yours with siemens electronics, can the turbo be changed like this? With no ECU reprograming bullshit? Can you also delete EGR without any bullshit? Been scared to do it incase my dash lights up light a xmas tree
If you want to upgrade the turbo and remove the egr you should tune it. For sure if you delete the egr. You can contact hdituninglimited, they can tell you what you need to do. They also sell the turbos on their website. I dont know if the partner has an intercooler but if not you should probably also put one in. And maybe the exhaust.

i recently bought a 2005 peugeot 206 with the 69hp engine. do you think its worth swapping that to the gti 136 engine and then upgrading the car from there?
You can offcourse. If i were you i would then also upgrade the brakes and wheels/tires. Not sure if this way is cheaper then just to buy a gti though

Pff goeie vraag😅, ik denk dat je voor de turbo tussen 600 en 700 kwijt bent en als je hem laat installeren denk ik dat ze de motor eruit tillen en dat zal wel flink wat kosten. Ik heb het gedaan met de motor nog in de auto maar dat is wel een gezeik met overal bijkomen namelijk.

I have to say with this that only the turbo doesnt give you stage 3 power, it still needs some other upgrades and a tune offcourse.

This is for the turbo, you can also get the gaskets with it. What other parts do you need?

Alfi turbo in France, but I would only recommdnd it if your going for max 150hp. Mine blew up after 2 years but thats probably because I had the boost too high

You probably have the problem of the fan not kickin on? If so, I ran a wire to the cabin with a button so I could manually turn on the fan. For emergency cases, turn on the heater on full blast to get as much heat out of the coolant as possible

The car has been tuned to stage 2.5 now (stage 3 requires a better fuel pump). It drives great, lots more power then before. Video of that will be out sometime soon.
