The stinger looks like a great knife, but like you said a little pricey as compared to the competition with similar materials. Looking forward to your full review on it. Thanks for the look see Kevin and keep making sharp things fun and enjoyable
I agree on the choice of steel for the price
As a left hander myself I find pocket knives verry comfy because the pocket clips are on the outside instead of in the palm of my hand, and I find it pretty easy to operate one handed too, left handed is cool i recon though everything seems to be made for right handed people lol, I find that in simple things like for instance scissors that can be verry painful to use because the finger holes are slotted to one side for comfort on right handed use, but ofcourse there are models that fit either side but hard to find 😂👍, but always good to have a lefty around to get that odd sided job done but they are kinda rare but if a lefty needs a right handed dude they are full up so bin a lefty has its advantages too I spose 😂🤣😂👍, I'm not complaining deffo haha, peace from South Africa ✌
I've always wanted a stinger. I would probably grab the budget model personally. Great video 👍
That copper/carbon is beautiful

Ive been eyeing Ferrum Forge knives for a while now. Their 1st run knives are crazy nice

Being the only people on this planet in their Right Frame of Mind (Left hemisphere of the brain controls the right side of the body and vice versa) I can say, being in my Right Frame of Mind, that us Lefty's are under appreciated, under equipped in the Knife World and we're also more Ambidextrous by design (living in a Right Handed World). This is why when I put my CRK Small Sebenza in LH configuration in a Right Handed persons hand, they're TOTALLY incapable of operating the knife with any semblance of dexterity. That's the only way I've been able to express to my RH Friends how aggravating it is to live in a RH world. More knife companies need to be more Left Hand friendly. I'm not saying make LH dedicated knives like CRK and a couple other companies like Boker, DPx Gear, Spyderco and the Paramilitary 2 (dedicated LH model) and the Manix 2 with the Ball Bearing Lock, Protech and a few more. But where these are nice, most are built as Ambidextrous knives that are LH "Friendly". Dedicated LH knives from different manufacturers are usually limited to one or two models and seldom cover the entire product line with the one exception. Chris Reeve Knives. But, what if you want to customize your knife with oh...lets say "Flytanium" scales. Unlike RH buyers, LH buyers must request scales that are LH friendly. But after exhaustive communications with them, they still don't give a flip about LH people and refuse to simply omit the RH clip screw holes on a small percentage of their lineup so that LH customers can get the same clean scales afforded to the 90 percenters or RH customer base. I, for one, would love Flytanium scales on my Mini Bugout, but because they refuse to simply NOT drill for the RH carry and drill me a set of LH ONLY scales, they're on my no fly list. We're a powerful group as a unit, but not as single individuals. If all Left Handers would email them and insist on dedicated LH scales, maybe...just MAYBE they'll listen. So, anyone who has read to this point, please Email Flytanium Customer Service and request Dedicated LH Scales without the RH screw holes. There's power in numbers! We deserve the same consideration as all of the RH knife owners out there. Cheers! Zip~
Picked this up for 160, I prefer inlays on both sides too.
Where did you get it for that price??
@@twai8036 ebay guy had them listed at 180, then he threw me an offer. I wouldn't pay more then that for it though as it is really small.
@@WannaBURN thanks for the recommendation. I love the look of it, but I too question the value. I’m thinking ferrum forge and we knives both need to meet certain profit margins since it’s a collab
@@twai8036 I just picked up a Benchmade Osborne 940 for 160, on a bud on ebay too. Really impressed with it.
Waiting for my full titanium stinger now. I am going to anodize it possibly.

It’s a great user
The access to the lock bar on the OG stinger is horrible. It actually hurt my finger to use it, and was a no go to fidget with. To bad, kind of a cool looking design. Those scales are sweet.
Definitely should have been 20CV.
Just become right handed
🤣🤣
You joke, but it is a reality. I open knives better with my right but cut with my left.
@@coprolite_steve I am actually really good at being ambidextrous. I am a cabinet maker and I’ve always been able to use my left hand the same as my right hand. It’s kind over matter and after a while starts to become more natural.

Anybody (held and) have preference for FF Stinger VS FF+Drop Buc?
Stinger is thinner lighter. Better for edc
@@LeftyEDC Thanks!!!
Anyone have enough pull to get a left handed run? Ive been pestering grimsmo knives about it for like 5 or 6 years every fiscal quarter
Haha. I doubt i do. Grimsmo? For the norseman? They did some lefties
@@LeftyEDC yes but i have only seen one on the secondary market and none through them... Im hoping if i pester them enough they may do a small run for us southpaws.
Do you keep up with left handed models as they come on the market? Ive got enough to not pick up another compromise knife but i dont see enough left handed content to keep it running
That being said i picked up a graham midtech rhino because i can deal with a wrong handed lockbar as long as the deploy and clip are true ambi :)
The fact that I am left handed is the very reason I don’t own any frame locks.

@@LeftyEDC which knife ramble do you cover it in?
@@jamesharris6426 literally filmed it when i left that comment haha. Should be up in an hour
@@LeftyEDC right on brother. Lol
I understand your concern about your address but do remember anyone who drives down your street can see your address plastered on the front wall for the world to see…
Great video as always bud. Kev does a really good job of covering his address so its not seen. Sooooo if anyone wants it, hit me up.
