That looks better, much better than any race track i've ever been to in the United States. Never seen a food court like that but have not been to many races this century. Many thanks to you Jack. I'm so grateful for Cycle Drag and to you for the coverage and interviews, the shop visits but most of all for your coverage of fuel bike racing. People like McBride and Vantine. Upton and Mathasen. This stuff must be covered and you do it. We are all in your debt.
The day of a meet (or even on weekends, testing or racing), my wife always knew when to let me be. She called my mood my "race face." God, I miss those days, now that I'm almost 76. Gees, I even remember watching Dave Schultz race his, believe it or not, 2 stroke Kawasaki in the pro stock bike class at my home track, DeSoto Speedway, near Bradenton, FL . I ran 8:58 @ 157.89 for 2 national records there in the first AMA Dragbike race of 1983, and then I won the meet with three .00 trees, plus an .04 and an .05. By far my best race weekend, ever. I actually have national record certificates in frames, with those time tickets proudly displayed on the wall of my "man cave." I still get choked up when I look at that wall of pictures and awards, as it was a great time in my life.
We love Mitch , I'm very impressed with his knowledge and skills. Thanks Jack for covering his material I'm now a huge fan and have since gone way back into videos of him and watched them all
sorry to be so offtopic but does someone know of a method to get back into an instagram account?? I was dumb forgot my login password. I love any help you can offer me!
Im sure if the CEO of NHRA was in the main events like the IHRA...things might be a little different lol. But tracks and money make a huge difference so they have to limit the top end modifiers for safety
We need the open rule book of racing. To make it worthwhile. We don,t get the same track time as you guys do in the states. We need to play catch up faster with better gear. Mostly we have 5 to maybe 6 real worthwhile tracks to race on in OZ.
Jack, I used to carry my bike around in an old duel axle big box ambulance that we converted into a sweet hauler. I'd love you to see the pics of it. I could sit on the wheel wells and tear down between rounds if necessary, with my engine right in front of me. It was a great use of it.
Hardly Drivable here in the states should have to race in their own division so us metric guys can actually get back to fast and use good parts like Monster heads and such, are 4cyl engines got nurffed long ago just so Hardly Drivable can keep up.
Brucie boi, what ever could you possibly be saying ? Would you like to see the sweet truth of your accusations ? Or do you still prefer your shit sandwiches ...its not all about cu.in. vs pounds of fun ...there is science involve about the physics and the physical differences in moving mass amounts of air in a very short time..and four cylinders pump tons more air than a 45* degree V Twin of the 1911 technology namely the vance & hines h-d screamin' eagle nhra pro stock motorcycle drag racing . So hete it is
Hey race fans, The blue Toyota Solara is piloted by Ben Bray. The Bray family are Drag Racing royalty in Australia. ruclips.net/video/wJ-YZPOleig/видео.html for an in-depth look at the Toyota. The other car is a Australian V8 supercar. 5lt pushrod V8 raced exclusively on road course circuts. They race door to door, wheel to wheel. Like NASCAR, it's the major national tin top championship run down under, and the place where Marcus Ambrose cut his teeth. The best introduction would be any of the Bathurst 1000 videos on RUclips if you want to know more. Cheers for the coverage Cycle Drag, it doesn't get get anywhere near enough coverage.

The pink and purple Force bike pilot is absolutely BEAUTIFUL. WOW
Do the engine crankshafts rotate the same direction in the southern hemisphere?
It,s only the Toilet Flush that you guys in the Northern Hemisphere have trouble with.
Crankshafts still spin the same way, lol.
