You install a lower first gear ratio and a lower differential ratio. Do you raise the 5th gear ratio so you don't hit the rev limiter way before the finish line?
It's amazing that they can change so many variables at once, and still (usually) make it all come together.

Because of the lower power, MPH will be lower
