One of the best videos yet. Mr. Frank on the GS, is a true inspiration for sure. Blessings to them both. God bless Kevin and his family as well. This is what's makes America truly great! We are stronger together, not divided.
I had a bobber I called Frankenbike it was a 80ish kz650 motor on an '83 kz750 frame with the ass end of the frame removed and made rigid except for the springer seat....the seat heighth was 18-20 inches off the ground, it had 4 into 4 exhaust with no heat exchanger(4 straights that stopped about 2 inches behind the foot pegs, with drag bar handle bars. It would go from 0 to 90 miles per hour in a 100yds!!! I couldn't get more than another 35-40 miles per hour out of top end, but it'd get to 90mph really fucking fast!!! Good times!!!
I really enjoy cycle drag! Thx for all you do. Very inspirational. Looking to get my 07 zx14 on the track soon. Had some physical issues this year and want to work up my bike a little bit. Me and my bike should be ready next spring!
I had 1974 desert Whirlwind 140 miles an hour out of the create had it punched out to 1175 14/2 to 1 compression way too much had the Piston shave down to I think 12 and a half to 1 I. Still couldn't kick start it. Had a couple KZ1000 had a GPZ 1100 1984. Now I don't have a bike at all. Bums me out when I think about it. I sure do wish I would have kept that 1974 desert Whirlwind bike that was a really fast bike I miss it.✌👍😎 I was practicing one day with it getting off the line and I spun the crank I should have the pins welded should have had them pins welded.😎
Love the old school have a Suzuki and a Kawasaki at the moment and a newer Harley hope to be at this event next year love the bracket coverage and the longer videos.bkeep up the good work!
Hello you have a great show..this is Brad Young.i love hearing you talk about the KZ 900 and GS Suzuki when i was 15 i got a 75 Zl Kawasaki bought it new.i test drove it and took it back and told them to put a header on it and id be right back..i didnt even take the stock pipes with me..ha ha. 75 was the last year for the Z1 but u know that.Your awfull smart about bikes so i know you remember the GS 1150 E. Suzuki .i bought one of those from Bear Brothers Suzuki in Bristol Va.it was 85 or 87 sorry i cant remember which year..but they had been racing it..it only had about 400 miles on it..Suzuki had built it to the max but no turbo or anything like that..but had racing clutch and they did everything possible to the moter..but there best drag guys were all skerd of it..i couldnt believe how fast it was..it was unreal what ever they did to it..but after racing around on that Z1 sence i was a teenager that 1150 was a blast..im lucky im still alive..well not lucky our Good Lord kept me alive..i promise im not bragging you are the MAN.you brought back some good memories..thank you..its great to hear somebody aa smart as you that loves the old school bikes..i got goose bumps hearing you talk about them..i dont have voice mess but feel free to text me anytime .if you want to talk about bikes id enjoy what u have to say too.if you want u can text and i can call u back ot u can tell me when u will call , so i will make sure ill answer sence u dint have a voice mess.you seam to be a cool guy..and verry smart on anything bikes..thank you.Brad Young.423-534-8336.im sorry i just discovered your vidieo's. There great..your the best at what you do..you make everybody feel like there at the race..ut is next best thing thanks to you..i saw your Dad in the vidieo on his 65 Birthday..thats great..id give my legs to have my Dad or Mom.your so lucky im glad for you..im sorry i sent u a text book..you got me wound up listening to you at the track.i know u have to be a great racer/rider..haa have a great weekend
Bike sounds cool man. Old school has something special, especially Honda's. Gonna rip my CB900 this weekend before it gets too cold. CB350F and CB550K winter projects await. Love Stacy's old Honda here. Why dont people like comstar wheels?
i broke my leg flat tracking last sept. its been a tough thing to come back from. i'm 57 now and i have been thinking maybe its time to hang up my racing leathers but after seeing guys like frank still racing and winning at 75 i finally figured out im being a pussy its time to bring out my z1 dragbike out of mothballs and keep on keeping the dream alive
I had 3 open heart surgeries and a recent stroke and thought it was time to hang it up but after a moment of clarity only reminded me of how short life is and that its time to really turn up and Crack the throttle so I'm in the process of finishing up with revamping my turbo nos pro comp bike keeping turning brother❤❤❤❤
definitely love to watch longer videos that are all races as well as the stuff that has introduce riders to fans so if we're at races and know to pay respect to the vet's i especially love 75 year olds killing the 🌲 and just shows that muscle memory has plenty to do with reaction times and nothing to do with age you can't get wisdom in minutes it takes a lifetime 👍👍
I dearly love technology I love having a 250cc 4-stroke used to I wouldn't ride anything but 500cc two strokes but there is nothing that I love better than seeing an old GS or KZ with a Big Bore Kit outrun the ZX-14 s or the Hayabusas so I guess you could say I am old school but I do love technology I love it all
@@chicken_permission then it's a gsx1100. The letters mean things. GS = air cooled 2 valves per cyl I'm pretty sure. GSX is 4 valves and air/oil cooled.

God I hate bracket racing. The higher ET qualifier always seems to win. Straight up is the only way to go.
