    I like your comparison video but lets also be sure the same app running on the M1 is a arm64 app for Apple Silicon. I say so because apps that are not meant for silicon processors will still run but a bit slower because its running on Rosetta2 which is typically allowing it to work though not fully compatible hence reduces speed.

    Hi, this is some amazing content showing performance... I plan to get a Macbook Pro i7 with 16GB ram and 512 GB SSD because that's what I can afford. My job basically is to attend virtuals meetings and use chrome, no coding or editing and my current one is a Samsung i5 8GB RAM that works perfectly fine for me but I want an upgrade. Do you think it's gonna be a big difference in performance for me? Or considering my day-to-day tasks there's no difference between a M1 and an i7 Macbook Pro?

    What do you think about the mabook pro 2019 core i7 16gb and 512gb ssd is it suitable enough for video editing and coding?

      It is good enough for some video editing. I did a lot of video editing with that machine. All 1080p stuff though. But coding I’m not sure. I don’t code.

      If you're using windows for coding, an intel mac is far superior and a worthy upgrade. I use SAP Hybris (Java) at work, it was 25 mins to bundle on PC, but only 5 mins on mac.

      @@MichaelJohnsonProductions Moreover with Intel chip macbook pro I faced lot of issues related to CPU increase, exhaust fan running like crazy, connector getting hot etc when connected to external monitor. Hopefully these issues dont exist with M1/M2/M3 macbook pro models

      @MichaelJohnsonProductions  Месяц назад

      @@satishatsun1 From my experience those issues do not exist. We do have to keep in mind though. It is a computer and a computer is suppose to get a little hot when it is working. But not overly hot.

    I feel apple SHOULDNT have made the macbook thinner in the first place…

    • @MichaelJohnsonProductions
      @MichaelJohnsonProductions  Год назад +3

      I totally agree with you. They should have never made it so thin to begin with.
