I had my 2013 Venza for 10 years and literally no problems whatsoever. Just gas, oil, brakes, the regular maintenance...best car I ever owned. Just traded it in for a family truck...but now I'm thinking about getting another one!!
Glad you had such a great experience!
How much did you speak over the 10 years on maintenance? Would you say thousands of dollars if you tallied it? I am looking for a car with minimum maintenance.
I literally only paid for oil changes and tires... Not sure how much that adds up to but the maintenance cost is super low. If you can find one with low miles I say go for it! And I got about 20mpg combined driving.
So you did not bring it in for regular 6 months check ups? I am looking at 2024 limited. I test drove a 2024 XLE last week but will have to wait for the specific color I want next year. @@Diagonalforward79
Isn't that low, 20mpg? I thought people are getting close to 40?@@Diagonalforward79
Those are not additional cup holders in the center console. They contain removable “spacers” that you can insert into the cup holders to accommodate beverage holders of different heights. The console is where you store them when not using them in the cup holders.
Wha?
@@DannyDrives See pages 344 and 345 of the Toyota Venza 2023 Owners Manual. You'll find that it informs the user that each of the two front seat cup holders in front of the console box tray contain "spacers" that can be removed and STORED in the console tray in order to use the cup holders at bottle holders. That's what those two thin indented compartments are for: to store the cup holder spacers when not in use to hold bottles in the cut holders. They are NOT to be used as cup holders, as they would be entirely unstable for that purpose.
Exactly, and I tried for four months (on a list) this year to obtain a Venza Limited, no go. And I was transacting with the largest dealer in the Houston area. In fact, one dealer told me I was trying to get a "unicorn". LOL
I was lucky enough to obtain the 2023 Lexus ES300h, Ultra Luxury. It's the Ultra Luxury trim, which is what we wanted and is the highest trim for the ES hybrid. It is the Cloudburst Gray exterior with Acorn color semi-aniline leather interior.

Averaging 43+ MPG City/Hwy driving and I had the oil and filter changed at 1,000 miles for my own peace of mind. Just For Reference: I was not going to wait one-year or 10,000 miles to have the factory installed oil & filter changed. And, I shall be changing the Oil (Liqui Moly 0W-16 Spec V) and Toyota filter every 5,000 miles from now on. Like Scotty Kilmer says, oil & filters are cheap, engines are expensive. LOL 🤔
Whoa thanks for sharing!
Nice one. I have the 2023 xle and I am enjoying it
What is your favorite thing about it?
Does the 2023 venza xle have navigation system?
@@ple1996 yes it does
@@DannyDrives the different drive mode
How about a review of the controls on the rear view mirror? There seems to be a few of them.
Oh most of those are garage door presets if I am recalling correctly
In addition to garage door presets, there is an SOS button for emergency assistance and a toggle that turns on the center rear view mirror CAMERA, which is awesome-a much better way to see everything going on behind you with a much wider sight line than the mirror image provides.
I’d really like to see the interaction with Apple CarPlay, especially navigation.
Sorry my friend, my phone is Android only.
@@DannyDrives Borrow one from a buddy! I enjoy your presentation style. You’re very helpful.
@@CreachterZ I just bought one and use Apple Play. It seems to work a lot like my Subaru. I can record it if you want?
@@kristinzhaoU Yes! Please!
@@CreachterZ okay I've finally learned enough. I will record tonight.
Will the instrument cluster display turn by turn directions for Apple CarPlay?
I only tested Android Auto in it
I just bought one and will see if I can figure this out. Did you find any information online?
@@DannyDrivescan you give me instructions for android
Just got a Venza 2024 límited. How do I adjust the heads up display? I’m short stature and can’t see it unless I sit up almost out of my seat
If I recall, buttons on the left of the steering wheel
How do you turn on the heads up display
In the settings.
Any way to get the split screen I had in my 2021? It had three sections to the screen: climate, nav, and music that displayed continuously together. I haven't found a way to do that on the 2023. Seems like I'll have to click back and forth a lot with this new one.
You mean the like home page?
Wondering how to access the tire pressure monitoring screen.
Via the gauge cluster?
Is there automatic interior lights that come on?
Yes, above the center console
Which is better, Toyota Venza or Toyota RAV4 Hybrid? thank you
I like RAV4s more.
We have a 21’ Venza Limited. My wife gets over 500 miles on a tank, and usually averages 47mpg. It’s been such a great car these past two years. 36k on the odometer, multiple family trips. Would recommend
Venza emphasis is on the luxury aspects; many report that it compares well with the Lexus in that regard. Has less cargo space than the Rav4s, but if you don’t need it to transport several family members plus luggage/sports equipments/etc., it’s ideal. I’m single and semi-retired so it’s perfect for getting around town and road trips (and SO economical).
Can someone tell me how how the driver side seat elevates at max height! I’m looking for a high seat that allows me to clearly look over the hood.
Hmm, are you looking for measurement?
@@DannyDrives yes max height from the floor board, thanks
According to Toyota, the max head room in the front seat is 38.6 inches.
@@DannyDrives yes, I do know that thanks. I'm looking for the seat height of the driver side when its set to the highest level. I'll just have to go sit in one, however nobody in my area has any to test drive.
I see, I no longer have this vehicle in my driveway or I would go out with a tape measure. Honestly, even the first number I gave you or if I could find you the number you are looking for isn't going to answer the question of can you see over the hood. What about trying a CarMax and a model year before just to sit in it?
Does the leather seating. Come in black
Yes to my knowledge it does
I would be surprised if you can find another color other than black. Like 98% or higher are black.
Pretty plush.
Definitely nice on the inside!
Show the trunk
This was a press loaner, I don't have the vehicle anymore.
Question....do all of the 2023 Venza Limited have that same non opening roof?
I think it is a special unique roof.
the Panoramic Stargaze option is on XLE and Limited only. It’s that or nothing.
Those are not extra cup holders.
what are they then?
Terrible spot for the push button
Where would you rather have it?
Behind the wheel on the right side next to the screen
Dayyyyyuum what’s up with that wood yo?!? I was seriously considering this thing but after seeing that fake wood HAIIIIL NOOO 😂
Its just one interior trim choice I believe
@@DannyDrives that’s what I’m saying. What the HE double hockey stick we’re Toyota designers thinking? We’re they all drunk when they made that decision? 😂
I’m not a fan of plastic wood.
