The short term thinking is the result of nothing working for yrs. They had no clue that the good stuff would work, because they’ve professionally never seen anything work. I’m not sure if UBP will last long, us BPFans don’t want that shit unless Bryan Hill got something up his sleeve, to change our minds.
Really hoping that Ultimate Black Panther shows up and shows out. The Character really needs to get that starpower up
I just tried to pre-order on dcbs and none is of the marvel comics have any authors in the description. They're scared of blood hunt going to shit. So greedy. Who's gonna buy all those issues??
Hopefully Marvel can come to the table with Hickman and Marco. To lose both would most likely send the series downhill quickly. This will be a major blunder if Marvel fumbles the bag on this one.
I actually like the miniseries style some of these are doing as it allows the product to be self contained. If they go nuts and the next story goes nuts with the messaging, I can just enjoy the short story I already read and ignore the next crap.
Imagine if the comics industry listened to fans on a regular basis!!
If Marvel wanted to do a proper reboot to their whole branding and everything else this was the golden opportunity to do it an actual reboot.
It kind of makes me wish that the Marvel Universe aka the prime Universe went down this route to be even to begin with.
But with the brand new Ultimate Universe initiative launched it seems like our favorite wall crawler albeit a little bit older now is carrying the load and promising us more Tales of this brand new Ultimate Universe to come.
hey hey hey, I'm excited for Spectregraph! But yes, I am very happy Ultimate Spider-man is doing well. Other than my LCS actually getting allocated copies and not getting his full order.
I’m very tempted to get Ultimate Spiderman but I still don’t trust Marvel. I will wait until issue 6 to see where it goes.
But I do want Ultimate Spiderman to be so good it puts the Marvel heads to shame.
I know this for a fact. Marvel tries to hotshot these series with big name creative teams at launch and the long term plan to replace them with much cheaper talents pretty early on in the run.
Really hope they don’t add Miles Morales to ultimate Spider-Man, I’m immediately out if they do
They won't!! There is NO Miles in this universe!
Oh wow! What do ya know, when you give people the customer WHAT THEY WANT …THEY BUY!! Hmmm fascinating discovery for the first time of mankind.
This stomped even the main run
5:27 Ah it's nice to see Moon Knight in the top 25 list.
It's no surprise if you give people what they want they'll pay for it
Enjoy the ride while it lasts. It's short.
And WE WILL!!
Whoop that trick...
If it sell's good definitly they Will renew the contract for sure
Ultimate Spider-Man #2 150k plus
I JUST wanna say Marvel should make the Amazing Spider-Man beyond AMAZING by dropping The whole ONE MORE DAY clutter by making Peter Parker and Mary Jane if not married at least strongly thinking about it at issue Amazing Spider-Man 1000!
short term thinking IS what put the comic industry in the state it is today
We pay.. we should get what we want, and what we wanted was Peter and MJ togheter.
From DC you got World Finest Batman/Superman, and from Marvel you have Ultimate Spider-Man comics.
Isn't it wonderful?😂
Is this dc "ultimate" universe a separate new universe or a reboot of the current one?
More likely a separate universe.
admit it Wes, it always feels good to talk positive about Marvel
Right until they give a reason not to.
I appreciate the opportunity to talk about Marvel doing something great.
@@Wes_From_TC Let's hope that they don't sideline Hickman this time.
I’m glad Spider Man is doing well but I could not get into the story.
I hope Marvel gives us the real Peter & MJ
based on what i've heard about how ultimate pete is being written ie older and married blows quesada's idiotic claim that him staying married aged him into unpopularity and irrelevance totally out of the water.
2:35 tf is up with your hand wes
He's an AI replacement
It would be great to see image pass dc and marvel
I dont care how it's doing, the rug pull is coming regardless and that's my problem.
That's you ruining your own good time loser, the rug pool never happened with renew your vows either so ha ha
@@davidblyth6886Damn, guess that's too bad. Not giving my money to them, they dont care. But u guys have a great time. Congrats.
@@davidblyth6886 Think, moron. Do you really think Marvel (the same people who greenlit Wells' dumpster-fire run) would let us have something like this if they didn't have some bullshit planned for this book further down the line?
Chip just needs to quit and do his independent comics, that seems to be the only thing he’s actually “trying” in.
I still think Marvel is setting us up with this one.
I have a bad feeling they will kill off MJ. Hope I am wrong.
The short term thinking is the result of nothing working for yrs. They had no clue that the good stuff would work, because they’ve professionally never seen anything work. So they can’t be faulted for being the product of their environment.
However:
Now, they can extend things out. Prove they can recognize and adapt. (Please surprise me by being able to do this).
My only hope is that the hostile takeover of Disney leads to a purge up and down the food chain all the way to marvel comics editorial.
Still no interest in Hickman tossing out the entire Ultimate legacy for something that has nothing to do with it. Under a different title, I may have been interested, but calling it Ultimate was just disrespectful.
If you're absolutely going to buy marvel books, make this the only one you buy. I'd prefer a total boycott in order to punish them for their egregiously bad behavior.
They make spidey gay in issue 4
Always dig Spidey, but too little, too late. Too much damage done to the parker history. Haven't bought a Spidey comic for 20 years and have no intention of risking my dollar. No more MJ ever. Period!
MJ will always be here, you lose
It's ok, but I don't think it's as great as people are making it out to be. So far I think Renew Your Vows was more exciting. I would rather see Pete and MJ married in the real Marvel Universe.
You probably should stop using AI art in your thumbnails
It's a shame that, we're getting a non Canon Spider-Man best story-arc! Which we should've had our main 616 Spider-Man with this deserved heroic story-arc. After what our Peter went throughout this "pathetic woke" era! He's still left in the dirt! Until they right what they did to our mainstay, I'm not interested! 👊
Marvel universe 616 become dog shit for decades. We need a new fresh take in these characters.
I'd like to see a DC alternate universe story. Where Superboy and Robin . were still simply the supersons. Not gay bisexual transsexual non-binary like the so-called Superboy. or they had murderous intent. like Robin. Simple nice and clean. Like it was in the good old days.
