  • The mountains of the Wyoming western range is a wilderness all of it own. I went on a week long horse pack-trip through Wyoming's Yellowstone and Shoshone National Forest, and it was one of the most beautiful places I've ever been.
This past northern hemisphere summer, along with family and friends, we spent a week horse back riding into Shoshone and Yellowstone. With horses and pack mules we set out to explore as much of the area as we could in the time we had. We were even able to see a huge rockslide that had caused a dam. And rainfall causing something like that in the area hadn't been seen in decades. It was an absolutely incredible experience, and one I will remember forever. I hope you enjoy :) Take care

Unless you don’t mind the cold, be sure to visit in the summer. Wyoming can be brutal in the winter. Beautiful, but brutal.

I Too am a Proud Wyomingite who has Lived in the Big Horn Basin. For the Past Forty Five years. Your Video was Fantastic and Unbelievable. Along with Great Camera work. One thing though, in it was You could of gave More Information about it's General Location? Such as was it in the North Fork Area's, or the South Fork of the Shoshone River. As it Was it's Very Vague & You Never Clarified that Point.
From my POV, I'd say You were on the Upper Reaches, of The South Fork of the River. This I'm assuming, because I Myself was on Horseback on The North Fork of the River, back in the Early Nineteen Eighty's. We Rode North up Trapper Creek, from the Camp ground there. And then We took a Ride Southwest & Back to the East at The Crossed Saber's Ranch, over the Ridgeline Trailhead Separating Two Tributary Stream's, flowing into the Shoshone River, due West of the Wapiti Ranger Station, & up the Valley almost to the East Gate of Yellowstone, NP. at The Pahaska Teepee Resort.
All that Country is just Gorgeous, Bueatiful, and Magnificent too see. Any Way a Person Can do So?. But on Horseback or Mule's it's even Better.
IN Light of this Day & Age, I'd Say the South Fork, is Now more Pristine, Roughed and Not Compromised by the Modernized WORLD. Nearly as Badly, as the more Accessable North Fork River Valley Now is? All in all, as I mentioned? Your Video of The Pack Trip was GREAT ☺️👍 & I'm Glad, You and Your Compadres Took the Opportunity too do it as the Fur Trapper's would've Done So 170 some Year's Ago?
When they were the Only White's this Far West & the Native American Indians, were the Only Other Human Inhabitants around Then.
Well Thank You so Much for Sharing Your Adventure, with US All.
May God Bless You and Keep, You n Your's Safe.🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

I’ve hunted muleys and speed goats in Wyoming and have family there as well. The scenery is awesome, but the salt of the earth people make the state truly beyond awesome.
