How to link a gate to an alarm system using a limit switch - Gate connected as a zone on the alarm

Alarm system shown is the IDS X64 alarm panel requiring 3k3 Ohm terminating resistor.

This is similar in theory to a door contact sensor. On my door sensors I needed to connect a resistor - as I was typing you answered me. Unfortunately my gate is a palisade type, which means it would be easy for a thief to push it to stop the alarm.
