If only Tata service technicians had this level of understanding 😅. I had been to service centre for more than 5 times for DPF issue and oil level increased. They could never explain to me root cause 😅.

There is also one common problem in BS6 engine injector vl inject direct fuel into cylinder so engine oil level raises and Regen asks for few kilometres itself…I attended this problem in Scorpio and Altroz

Good to see both stalwarts in a single frame discussing important issues. Great job and "Ram Ram" to both brothers 🙏.. Diesel or petrol fuel mixing with engine oil as compression blowby charge in gaseous state is tolerable inside the oil chamber as it exits from PCV or EGR vents as pressure buildsup. But when it mixes in liquid state with engine oil, it creates a huge problem. Crankshaft bearings(journals) and piston links get damaged when diesel or petrol mixes with engine oil. Additionally, engine oil looses its lubricating and cooling capacity and with increased oil+fuel mixture, the oil level increases inside the chamber and the engine heats up veey high even for short distance travels. For DPF regeneration, the best design is to fit a small injector into the Catalytic Converters and squirt fuel at high pressure to assist in burning the soot at mid range RPMs.

Bhai, very good information, my car also shown same situation. Tata show room service told me engine failed and need to change injectors, engine and total 3 lakh estimation given. I ran from the service centet.
Thats why Diesel car is not supposed to switched off immediately after stopping.... you need to keep the engine on for a minute before switching off. Also, diesel needs to be run on highway occasionally atleast.
Self regeneration bhi pta chalta hai gadi me… Instantaneous Fuel efficiency kam ho jati hai gadi ki.. usse pta chal jata hai ki gadi regeneration mode me aa gyi hai…

I given out side machenic he resolved by cleaning AGR, Turbo, Trottle and its piping and now working good.

सर जो फ्यूल जल नही पाता है EGR जो जिसको resculation नही कर पाता है और जो फ्यूल बच कर बहने लगता हैं वो कूलेंट में भी तो सामिल हो सकता है
