Same, I really hope we keep getting updates about them 🤞I love that they included this in the finale episode as well because it's the first finale without Casey and the first finale without Brett in 9 seasons so it's nice that they're at least referenced. I know that Brett's been mentioned a couple of times but I still need to watch the actual episdoes to see them. I watched episode 7 the other day, the first one without Brettsey and although it was a good episode, I still found it really hard to watch without Brett and/or Casey because they're my favourite characters so I really struggled without them and I've been in kind of a downer in relation to Chicago Fire, so seeing this, it's just what I needed. I just love that she's now Sylvie Casey. I think what makes it even greater is the fact that Brettsey's managed to buck the trend in one Chicago of the main characters taken their married name because their maiden name is their established name so it'd be a bit hard to change them epsicially if you have two characters with the same name on the same show so the fact that they've both left, it's the perfect opportunity for her to take his name and I'm so happy that she has. 😍

@@fandomships yessss! Tbh, ever since they left I haven't seen an episode fully. I learned about this scene mentioning Brett and then I went on to check. The show has changed too much tbqh. All about Stella now. I've had enough. I'm happy they left with their perfect happy ending and if they ever come back for an episode I'll be definitely watching. But that's about it. P.S: I stopped enjoying the show not just because they left but I truly believe it lost its identitity. I love the early seasons, even when we didn't have Brettsey just yet. I miss it 🥲

I don't know if it'll actually happen, but Kara said that she wants Sylvie to be pregnant during their next guest appearance. If we can't have them onscreen, then knowing that they are living their much deserved happily ever after is better than nothing, I guess.

@@janapontes6799 Yes! It just feels like it's changing so much now. I mean I know you can't keep the same cast for 13 seasons because it's a long time but it just feels as though it becoming an entirely new cast. I've completely went off of Kidd, I just feel as though she's pushed down your throat. Yeah, as much as I miss them and hate that they're gone, I'm just so happy that they get their happy ending. I would absolutely love for them to come back. I could definitely see them coming back for the final ever episode depending on how long the show continues on for. I always liked watching Chicago Fire but my love started to grow when Brettsey began happening in season 7. I completely fell in love with the show and it became my favorite show so when Casey left, I was devastated and struggled to watch but I still had Brett and the Brettsey relationship continued but then they broke up but now they're both gone, I'm really going to struggle.
