It's also possible to "boil" a rubber strap and put it on the inside of a coffee mug to shape it, but that only works for rubber, and this method is easier.

Works for leather as well, however you have to oil the leather afterwards to replace the oils.
Put it on the pillow and set it in the window sill for a day or so 🤜🤛

I changed my rubber bracelet to leather bracelet to my victorinox fieldforce sport Chrono watch and it's so much better as i eas ready to give thr the Watch away because the rubber band was really not good

Honestly any g shock is a great watch but the straps are horrible
Throw your leather straps in a sock and put them in the dryer for 20 min. It’ll come back soft. Throw that on your wrist for a few hours. When you take it off, rub it with conditioning oil or Vaseline and let it sit over night. In the morning wipe it down. Now you’ve got a custom fitted new leather strap.
