I had hoped to see the mower "safetied" before the procedure. At least, disconnect the spark plug wire! If a generous dose of STA-BIL Storage was added to the tank and fuel system in the fall, allowing the mower to run another ten minutes afterward, an easy Springtime start-up is almost assured.
Tilting the mower will let gas come out of the throat of the carb & drench air filter with gas, carburetor should be drained also when putting away for extended periods
Thank you, for the great explanation.
Other ways displayed on RUclips were silly, like siphoning.
Nice tips Mark!!! Thank you!!!😀
Thank you!

Will there still be gas in it even if you emptied it, or do I have to run the rest of it
Do you reuse the emptied gas or how do you dispose of it
fuel should not be reused because of age or risk of contamination

What about the oil???? Does that need to go first?
Can you show us how to clean the inside of the tank , Thank you.
You could just add some fresh gas and flush it out , or remove the tank and shake it with the fuel in it, then drain it ? force air pressure in it ?
