I took 4-0 at a Prerelease with a deck using Green / Yellow / White new Boba with something like 12 each of Ambush cards and Smuggle cards. In almost every game, I was able to immediately answer every card my opponent played, which felt very satisfying and rewarding. The most surprising card was Frontier Trader, which wowed me with how impactful it could be. The strongest card was definitely Enfys Nest, especially as it was usually a 6/4 with Boba ability. The thing I definitely could've improved was my choices for which cards to play out of aspect; I opted to play 2 filler cards, when I likely should have just played stronger cards for the late game.
wowee that sounds like a nigh unbeatable sealed deck!
KTOD rocked a 6 pack Winchester draft during Set 1 that seemed to go pretty well. Snake draft from all 6 leaders and then shuffle the 6 packs for your Winchester picks.
We are going to give 12 pack winchester draft a shot on the next stream!
@32:55 Wait! Does Fennec triggering the Cad leader's ability for 2 damage.. comes AFTER the Ambush?
If the damage is dealt to Mandalorian Leader, then Fennec's ability (if there are 3 differently costed cards in discard -> 3 Damage) would defeat it without getting damaged back during the ambush (and not dying to the Cloud Card later).
I went to 2 pre-release and got 7 legendaries, including hypersapce Kylo, hyperspace Krayt and hyperspace foil Dryden Vos

I pulled Wrecker and and Poe at one of the pre release events I went to this weekend. Slammed in a boba red deck and did nasty work.
Hindsight’s 20/20, but I wonder how Justin’s same deck would have been with Rey and a yellow base, maybe swapping out something for the Moisture Farmer. Rey can ramp things up the curve well enough and her Restore 3 can get out of hand.
I figured he was going Rey from the start.
If you ambush chain code collector you can use his on attack ability and survive that attack
I played in two prereleast and opened and my differnet leader count out of 14 packs was 6. So many Reys and Hondos. Got rare Hunter leader but I don't think it was good in sealed. The first event I was able to go more with space with Rey and had a number of Restore. Synergies were great for other people and I can't believe how OP some cards are with the Ambush plus making the defender less powerful taking away the attrition to put damage on them And Han just seems crazy being able to use the Action without exhausting to bring out cards at one less cost, granted they take 2 damage but it still seems a bit OP to me, especially later on. Gonna try and build a straight shadows deck out of what I have with not a lot of options for leaders.
I played Bossk during prerelease and it made me a believer in trying a constructed deck with him.
Can you please stop putting chapters per game and do it per match instead? I can’t count how many times I’ve been spoiled because I saw that the match was just two games.
Hmm Its tough because some people do prefer chapters per game so they can skip the in between/sideboarding and go right to the next one. I totally understand the complaint though.
@@TabletopRoyale yeah. But skipping that stuff is easy without chapters. Just jump forward until you see play has started again. Spoilers kinda ruin the video

Once you learn it, it can be the most fun way to play!
It’s super fun. I have never pulled a bad pre release deck. Even when I played qira and a lot of removal it was still really good
