This brings back happy memories of me playing Civ Revolutions, and how I just swarmed enemies with Aztec warriors and waged super intense sieges against them. I remember the longest siege I had was three days long... I LOVED that game so much!

A challenge for you: i've played over 1k hours in Dark Crusade (Dawn of War), and it actually does seem perfectly ballanced. The only exploit I've found is with the NoLimit mod, which then allows you to spam Ethereals as the T'au, each Ethereal gives a %bonus to all stats of ALL THINGS and it can be stacked up to 48 times in my testing, making basic infantry be like ICBMs. But can you find any exploits? I'd love to see it if you can!

Ah, this brings back fond memories of me being so ridiculously ahead in science that I was the first to GDRs and went on a capture and destroy campaign as Hungry for a domination victory lol.
I think tying the advancements to cities makes a lot of sense. If it was an advanced city and it rebelled or got taken over, all that tech and research wouldn’t just go away.
I always name my GDRs if/when I get them Shagohod, RAXA, Basilisk, ZEKE, Sahelanthropus, TX-55, REX, RAY, and EXCELSUS in that order (I may have gotten the timeline or names or something wrong but whatever).
Good morning/evening not sure if you have at one time shown this but I know of a small thing you can do in a a game of Warhammer Dawn of War Dark Crusade with the Necrons to win the game, all you need is the TOMB SPIDER ,one or two a builder and the spider's scarab ability, summon the scarabs, spider will get damaged, but no problem builder unit can repair it thus bring it's health back to Max , now for the small cloud of summoned scarabs if you have more than one is best, Max out the numbers in the squad/s send them out to kill and just stay on them they will die quite easy but they are the cheapest unit , just keep spamming the button to reinforce and see the scarabs eat any opponent in the game including the most powerful of enemies slowly. (This was done on an older, Not updated version.) Another exploit but on the Soulstorm expansion with Necrons was that you could brake the max number of troops you could have and place them in the red,( surpassing Max number(to a degree). Have the Necrons summon the fighters you basic warrior, to Max number,give the Necrons Lord the resurrection orb , now send the some warriors to die fighting, (must have persistent body's mechanic active) once Necron Warriors are dead, bodies still on the field send the Lord with resurrection Orb to use it. Once he uses it some of the Warriors will activate breaking the max number of Warriors you can have. The last games Tomb Spider scarabs are useless on this game.
