I have a 6gb oc variant. Tbh the difference between both variants is just 10-15% but yes for games which requires higher vrams like Indiana Jones, you need that extra 2 gigs. I actually got an RTX 3050 in my smaller system, but with 8 GB (below that isn't really feasable for modern games). I have to employ a lot of AI trickery (DLSS, Frame generation as well as Lossless Scaling's voodoo technomagic sometimes) to play Cyberpunk 2077 with an average of 165 fps on an 180 Hz monitor at 1080p with very high to 'psycho' settings. So it is possible to play graphically intensive games like that with this card, but you really have to use this AI stuff to make it work fluently. That cpu is very limiting. If you have a budget I would highly recommend upgrading from 8GB of ram to 16GB(dual channel ram) and getting an RTX 3050 6GB for R3699 at Wootware. DDR3 ram is pretty cheap and throw the same speed of ram inside of it and with the RTX 3050 6GB you can run most e-sport games and light games(with some light or heavy cpu bottlenecks). Also get yourself a 256/500GB sata SSD. Western Digital Sata SSD 500GB goes for R699 or 256GB for R354 at Wootware. Get the SSD and put your operating system on it. The max ram speed for the I5 3470 is 1333/1600 MHz. 8GB DDR3 1600MHz ram at Wootware cost R199.

This is a massive miss on the sponsor.
Generative AI is a HUGE negative right now.
A shame.
Solid video otherwise though.

Clickbait How?
hey guys I'm from South Africa, I love your youtube videos, I've been trying to get a gaming PC for about 2-3 years and I'v had the same office PC for about 10 years, I really need your help. Please HELP ME. By the way here are my PC specs
Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3470 CPU @ 3.20GHz
8GB DDR3 RAM
No Graphics Card
500GB HDD
And Merry Christmas and have a great end towards the year
That cpu is very limiting.
@@BladeCrew Thanks for the advice, but I don't have any money.
