I live in the Sardis part of Chilliwack, so you almost drove right past my place of abode! It seems that in spite of ferries and motels, you still had an enjoyable holiday where you could catch your breath. I trust that the trip home was good and found your home and animals safe and sound!

Hello. Nothing is better than camping on Vancouver Island. I lived in Victoria and attended both college and university there. Also lived in Parksville/Qualicum and Campbell River or many years. Made many trips to Long Beach. I can’t tell where you guys are. I have such good memories of the island. Still living in Japan. Can’t wait to return to Canada. But can’t afford to live on Vancouver Island now. Even Port Hardy is expensive these days. Will likely build off grid home in northern BC.

I drove 6 years back and forth on my Dirt Bike with no license or insurance just a old plate but when I got my 650 Yamaha special I got my license lol I loved it because it Rained and the man that was to ride beside me just told me to drive around the block and passed me lol lol

Two flew from Montreal while I took the 4 day train ride. I ran into them outside the Y and they had just rented an apartment on Comox for $250 for the three of us !!!

All work and no play makes a dull dull life and also makes one appreciate what they have when home. I can tell that was not real warm water.. I got goose bumps thinking about the first dive in.. after that, staying in is warmer than getting out unless dry... burrr. I hope not too many sand fleas to make a night quite interesting... I do remember some of those. Glad that you had fun even if it wasn't sunny florida... do they have any hot springs in this area?
Well just driving around the area, I lived in Utah and travelled up and around, is just amazingly wonderful .... I love ❤️ nature, so watching your trip around is pretty much the same...and I love it. Sure missing being away from it. So, of course, loving and thankfully happy with your many wonderful moments, most of all because I love you both for being such a nice fun loving companionship. 🥰💝and camping🥰 I love camping grew up since my 5 young year as a cub and of course camping forever ...I was also a cub leader 💫🤗I loved walking around the forest, so many wonderful things to learn about and enjoy the place meeting the animals....once unique time was camping only with sleeping bag and waking up with tones of squirrels up on the trees above our sleeping area, so cute, but I had never heard such a heard noise before l..all over the trees around us....kkkk....they wanted to down to the little rivers just by us...drinking water....kkkk....never to be forgotten 🤗 and what a view of the camping ground area...gorgeous💫 where was it?....yes...just living and making the place look better than when we arrived...typical scouting forever action ⚜️

We used to use a 20 foot painters pole in the center after tying the tarp off to the trees worked great
