Never change it actually turns out 26 inch bikes just as much fun as 29 inch bikes, actually in my opinion much funner cuz they're a lot more playful and I'm not a doctor so how the hell would I ever buy one of these bikes?
i know im randomly asking but does any of you know of a tool to log back into an instagram account..? I was dumb lost the password. I love any help you can give me!
@Shepherd Conor thanks so much for your reply. I found the site through google and Im trying it out now. I see it takes a while so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
would a bike like this work well at an east coast bike park? don't want a DH bike. Just want to ride with my son and we do moderate difficulty trails. No double black diamond stuff. Some light jumping and drops
What Can you say about the Fox Rhythm 36? Cant seem to find anything about it anywhere. How is the adjustment? And How does it stack up against the fox 36 performance? Thanks.
Feliz 2019.
Speaking of 2017 enduro comp model. I thought that the Butcher and Slaughter tires that come with these bikes aren't good enough so I switched them to Minion DHF 2.5 and H.Roller DHR 2.3 and got so much better grip. Also, I changed the 28T chainring to 26T to be able to pedal the steep climbs. The saddle was terrible so I chenged it with Selle Royal Selva model. The dropper post is not ejecting smoothly. Overall, it't definetly a good choice for the money if you're not a racer.
Surprised spesh went ahead with the rythim fork, its annoying because the next model up comes with ohlins coil then s-works which is $$$$, feel like they missed the mark as the elite model is such a sweet spot, decent spec (and frame) but room to upgrade. Same with some of the sj models, nice frame and spec but base model fork, and not a cheap item to swap out, honestly i think they could have done better
I recently got a modern, long, low, slack, short offset fork enduro bike and honestly....kind of wish I'd just gotten this, instead having to completely re-learn how to corner a bike....
As an owner of the 2018 Elite 29er, (yes, the pink one and size large) I'm surprised to see the weight figure on this. Mine came in right at 31 and a half pounds. Of course my bike had a completely different suspension and an 11 speed GX drivetrain. I'm surprised about the proliferation of 12 speed drivetrains and how much weight they add. I'm sure the .7 pounds wasn't all from that one extra gear. I truly do feel that if you are a strong rider, 12 is too many. Of course, with this pig you probably do need to 50 tooth.
Nice review,Specialized should´ve update the shock for a conventional one like they did on the Stumpy, everyone hates those proprietary shit the invented .
Great bike , rides smooth ruclips.net/user/postUgkxHL1v1R3NE5x4KiYfyt8dnQmyNYz7qi5L I added a bigger spring loaded seat to it . Takes a bit of adjusting cables to get brakes and shifting to perfect . I've owned quite a few bikes in the past that were absolutely uncomfortable to ride and they always ended up as garage wall decor . I'm not seeing that with this one. It's pretty light I've only ridden it a few miles but I like it . As for the pedals falling off in the other reviews , the pedal arms are aluminum along with the pedal studs look to be also . I would not overtighten them. I can see it would be very easy to overtighten them and strip the threads right off . All in all I think it's pretty good quality besides the aluminum pedal thing
Be prepared to alter your riding style for any new 29er riders enduros or stumpjumpers that are 5’6-7” tall as your ass will be in that rear tire all the time when jumping, big hits, steep stuff and if you like to hang off that back tire good luck to you and your ass but nobody says anything about that unless you alter your riding style..29 is the best but for short aggressive riders not so much... sick bike tho I wish I was 6’ hahaha! 2019 stumpjumper S-works M 29er frame 4 sale “acid kiwi”
Hey, you make a good point. Big travel 29ers do have that issue. You also do have to keep an eye seat position. If you're not careful, you might have your tire hitting the backside of the saddle.
Specialized suck .short wheel base, shit head angle, allum rear triangle .jumps like a lead balloon .shit colour schemes and looks fucked too. dont worry i sold mine
And here I am, still rocking my '08 Enduro...
Me too I see no need to change.

@Shepherd Conor It did the trick and I actually got access to my account again. Im so happy:D
Thank you so much you saved my ass !
@Felix Diego glad I could help :D
How does it compare to the Trek Slash ?
would a bike like this work well at an east coast bike park? don't want a DH bike. Just want to ride with my son and we do moderate difficulty trails. No double black diamond stuff. Some light jumping and drops
Enduro bikes are usually accepted to be very capable in bikeparks.
Also try a long travel (regular) stumpjumper. Very capable bike.
How does it have the rhythm fork at 4820 dollars? :O
The joy of riding a bike, don't ask these guys
I'd rather watch grass grow hey.
i just see 3 knobs who enjoy the sound of their own voice
have the fixed the leverage ratio that destroys the rear shocks every few months? i sold mine because of that
you mean the sideplay? Probably not as its the same linkage
Agree, slightly conservative cockpit however still a paradigm setter in the 29er Enduro scene. It's ready to shred.
What Can you say about the Fox Rhythm 36? Cant seem to find anything about it anywhere. How is the adjustment? And How does it stack up against the fox 36 performance?

Daniel Herman Knoop rhythm forks are legit

Still rocking my 26" Expert EVO!
Im 55 and I can accelerate alot faster out of turns on my 26 than my 29.
Just ride baby!

what are you all height for this L size frame?
How does the Rhythm fork stack up?? Such awesome reviews guys, keep em coming!

I have a 2018 elite with a MRP ribbon coil fork, suhweeet!!!
Jose Manuel Reuss the Rhythm is a heavier performance fork
I believe they skipped out on Ohilns for this generation because Ohilns was working on the next-generation of their forks at the time.
secretmeerkat compared to? What kind of damper does it have?

Did the middle muggins really use the word zeitgeist in a mtb review? See ya
Exactly my thought and I don't even ride to the extent of most people in this most I suspect.

Yes, it's a 2019
Still waiting for a re design on these, e29 is a sweet bike but could be better.
The Enduro went through a full redesign for 2017 and 2018.
I want to try the Levo version

Well I’m still riding my hardtail over everything and anything......I’m one with my hardtail!!
Again 27.5 with a larger fork.

converting 4820USD to Philippine peso OMG more than 250,000 pesos . . . hard to afford this bike. impossible to afford😢😢😭
This bike is gangster, I like to embarrass all the road bike freaks with my 27.5 butchers beating them at their own game

I love to hang off the back of my 2018 Enduro 29er. With a large frame and being 5'11, yes I do feel the rear tire at times.
