This makes me miss my grandmother even more who passed away in 1996. Grandma Margaret was from Western Pennsylvania and the most phenomenal cook and baker. She and my grandfather kept the most wondrous garden. She worked so hard and cooked for my grandfather, who owned a lumberyard in a small town for 50 years, and many of his workers for lunch every day. Our Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners were off the chain! Thank you for sharing this grandmother’s hard work, love & artistry she puts into every bite of her creations.
