That's awesome, I haven't had a chance to try the Lily yet. My BeesNeez experience is with the Tribute 1, BU87, BU67, Lulu FET and BC12A. I haven't heard a bad one yet :)
I haven't had a chance to use the FET version but I'd love to do that side by side at some point! Thanks for checking out the video and for taking the time to comment, it's much appreciated!
Picks up a very nice timbre in the midrange frequencies of your voice. I usually think of C12s as sounding kind of scooped, but this one seems to carry a nice focused weight in the mids while still having an extended top and robust bloom on the bottom. Thumbsup!!
Thanks Mark! I agree, this is all of the best qualities of a great CK12 capsule with none of the shortcomings a lot of the other ones seem to have. I'd love to hear your voice through it!
You should be out there as an artist. Your voice is beautiful. You have such an easygoing and kind energy that I think you’d get a lot of support. You have a voice that rings true, and that’s something you should think about. I’m an arranger from way back when, and I would love to help if you need it. Mainly I wanted to give you a little kick in the butt. You deserve it. :-)
Man, I needed to hear that more than you know right now! The internet and RUclips in particular can be such a discouraging place at times so I really appreciate you taking the time to be kind. I release my solo music under the moniker "Mid August." I would like to say something about the tracks I just listened to, and I am not online enough to know whether this is a public thing,as I don’t want to say anything that could be misinterpreted or sound negative. Am I OK giving you my opinion? If it’s not I certainly understand. I don’t know how anyone puts up with trolling .
Thanks Josh for another great video!!! That was a great cover btw!!! I like how this mic is still bright, but not over the top like many other C12s. The figure 8 sounded the most balanced to me and cardioid was more focused sounding
Ha! You’re totally right about that. I would never usually think to use a C12 capsule on a guitar cab(especially a greenback), but I agree, figure 8 was a great fit.
@@SeawellStudios I love that Ben took into consideration what a bunch of us were saying and came out with a revision on the microphone. That holds a lot of weight with me.
Sounds descent. I recently heard the current telefunken c12 @ AES being very clear & natural without the sizzle on the top & was wondering how any of the beesneez offerings compared. Is a hz graph provided?
For a more direct comparison to the Telefunken, check out the BeesNeez BC12. There is a frequency graph posted on the “specifications” section: beesneezproaudio.com/product/c12-classic/
Right, and I appreciate you posting it! I just prefer latch mode in general and being that I have a D-Control I just use the physical buttons to quickly compare like this instead of switching the solo mode. Thanks for sharing!
That's a tough call! I'd say the 9 polar pattern options of the BC12A make it more versatile though so I'd go with it. The SA-87T may be a tad bright for some voices. I hope that helps!
Thanks Jerry! Shadow Hills Quad Gama preamp, no compression. Got your voicemail, just got my phone back from my kids LOL. I’ll shoot you a text here in a bit to see if you can chat.
Man I was looking forward to buy a BU67 but I am starting struggle after watch this video. May I sincerely ask your own opinion, if you can only pick one, will you keep BU67 or BC12A? Thank you~
I've back and forth watched your review video of BU67 (which I've watched for more than 20 times) and BC12A, both sounds nice........Its very tough to make a decision....
Not true at all. Both are "copies" of AKG anyway so I don't think you can give any of them a hard time for recreating mics built around Brass C12K capsules considering AKG stopped making those capsule 40 years ago. The BeesNeez is crafted after the C12a while the Austrian is more of a 414. Personally, I much prefer a C12a to a 414.
Sounds great! Beesneez really knocked it out the park with this one. Great review, thanks for doing this.
It was my honor and pleasure to get to introduce this beauty! Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment, it's always appreciated.
Sounds excellent! My BeesNeez Lily is my favourite microphone of all.

@@SeawellStudios, I acquired a T1 about thirteen years ago but have yet to use it. 🎙️
@@JagadguruSvamiVegananda you should check it out when you get a chance, it's one of my absolute favorite mics!
@@SeawellStudios, I will, as soon as I begin recording my debut album. ⏺️
Great content, as always!
I really appreciate that!
Thanks a lot for sharing your thoughts. Finally I've bought a B67-269 v2.
Thank you so much! I truly appreciate it. I hope you love your new mic!
nice mic, i like how the mic is capturing transients and not more of the tone.
This sounds so great. So present without sounding shrill. Wish I could hear it next to the non tube version!
I haven't had a chance to use the FET version but I'd love to do that side by side at some point! Thanks for checking out the video and for taking the time to comment, it's much appreciated!

😘
No biases here, of course. ;)

I’m so glad you enjoy it Elias! I completely agree with your assessment of the pick up patterns 👍🏻
thx for the info, also beautiful performance.
Thank you so much! I truly appreciate it.
The figure 8 on the greenback speaker sounds incredible. Very smooth, which is nearly an impossible characteristic of a greenback lol.

Sounds really nice and has me really considering one.
I'd love to hear you guys singing through one! I think it would hold up quite well based on my experience with it so far.
