I love graaaaaaphs, especially seeing how the KV setting affects rampup power. Nice to see AM32 supports 100,000KV too for the next big thing in whoop motors 😝

Allow me to add that according to u!nt there is a bug in AM32 for 22.5 timing that can result in desyncs as well. They are working on the fix now. I had these desyncs on my 7" spec racer, and it went away when moved timing back to 15.

Nice, can't wait for the tiny whoop ESC tuning! I have a feeling the tiny motors require some different settings but I can't really tell since tiny whoop boards cant log anything without external logging hardware

There's quite a few whoop boards out there now adays with blackbox just gotta look. small motors like a higher timing and high ramp up power, while being less affected by pwm frequency declined breaking force as you go up in pwm freq%. Basically just meaning you can run higher pwm, rampup power, motor timing. Anything under say 2 inch props I find 96k pwm adds a significant amount extra flight time while not overly making breaking force fall off like it does on bigger props

Nice❤ I've already got good results with 23 timing (I'll try 15 like suggested) and pwm 24-48. Good job Chris!

Can you make a video comparing MPU6x vs BMI and BF pid loop ? Thanks! Great channel!

@8:18 Are you *sure* that when you're at FULL throttle then the FETs are NOT switching the stator coils on and off? Pretty sure BL motors don't work that way. They cannot be just on all the time otherwise the static magnetic field of the stator would hold the rotor in one position (eventually).

They are switching coils, but not doing PWM in-between.

I wish i could pick up your motors for 5in quads i been trying to get those for like 3 months maybe more now they are always sold out im just waiting on those to build another quad then i can tune my esc thanks for the info always helpfull 👍👍

My most used setting 48khz locked from BL32. I wonder why its not tested here. On BL32 we don't get the commutation issues even with 48khz locked wich we have been flown for years

Chris, will you be doing another video for settings if using AM32 experimental 3.03 firmware?

Nice video, would you be willing to test one of these z batteries in a future batteries testing. They can be extremely cheap if you get discounts

quick question. Are the motor timing recommendations reversed compared to BL_Heli32 tuning guide? In that video, you recommend going as high as possible with motor timing, where as in the video you recommend going as low as possible. For 3in the recommendation was 23deg, were as now the recommendation is 15deg. Could you please clarify if this is the case?

Contradicting everything he says all the time. He just promotes his aos motors and Peatron don’t trust him he isn’t a pro pilot go out there and test yourself he’s isn’t even testing 4 motors for true esc dysc

Hello, will it be possible in the future to set the motor timing one degree at a time instead of the presets of 8⁰, 15⁰ and 23⁰? Thanks

With a 2.5", what should the PWM frequency be? Still the same as the 3" setting?

Hi, i want to see a side by side benchmark between blheli32 and AM32 with the same ESC. I still got blheli32 in use, but i am looking forward to switch to am32, but i dont want to have any disadvantages. The last video i remembar, blheli is accelerating much faster then AM32.
So when can we move to am32 an getting same performance then with blheli32 (in both cases best tuned setup ;) ).
