I just made that decision yesterday and went with the 48v. You have to consider there are a lot of other things to get and save for. Helmet, gloves, chain lock, alarm, basket and bags, extra battery, etc. With my savings on the 48v, I was able to buy all these other things (except battery) and still well under $2,000 total cost. Lol you'd be surprised how much electronics can take even when they aren't "waterproof". A little rain won't hurt, as long as electronics aren't dunked into water they will be just fine if it's not some cheap electronic. PS it sucks the 48v doesn't come in black ... don't want red or blue really.
That's usually my stance as well 😅😎
I wish I could've gotten one but I had to cancel my order because of the grey area it fills in the legality. I hope AR comes out with VIN numbers to register them as mopeds.
Oh no sorry to hear you had to cancel your order 😔
Playing dumb and pointing to the class 2 sticker seems to work for many !
Hope you get to ride soon bro⚡

@@RustyRoads Thanks bud! But it's no biggie I'm gonna go with the Ristretto 303 FS since I can register it just guys wait till October. But at least I'll get the road this year! Pretty pumped!
@@JoshuasTejas awesome!! Those bikes are beautiful!!
Faster than the mini 2
Yep even in sport mode LOL. Love this bike!!!
MOTOR BIKE TIRES ARE HEAVY BUT THEY ARE THICK RUBBER LESS CHANCE FOR FLATS AND YOU CAN RUN THEM WITH HIGHER PRESSURE WHITCH ROLLS BETTER
True however they may void warranty according to Ariel Rider as it puts unaccounted for strain on the motors and gears. Basically if there is premature failure, motorcycle tires might void the warranty.
My Himiway Escape (moped-style also) does 34 mph at level 5 pedal assist at $1600, why would I buy that at $3500? waste of money
I love the Himiways ! Great choice!
The bikes in this video cost $1600 and $2100 respectively 👍🏾
All three seem like much better deals than a Super73 RX for $3500+ 🙌
Thanks for watching!

Lol you are going to comment this on all Ariel xclass videos ?? Lol ... also for reference these bikes aren’t 3600$ liar 🤦🏿♂️. Get your facts straight
kinda sound like john angel
Hey James ! I had to google who John Angel was but I don't think I found the one your'e referring too lol
Thanks for watching !!
3mph difference
Top speed is about the same. The acceleration difference is huge and makes the 52 twice as fun imo
Junk
Thanks for the feedback
Cheers
@@RustyRoads The motor shaft was stripped at the factory and they will not replace it, they had the display set to CON and my battery went dead, bent brake disks the back one was bad. the chain rubs the tire in first gear.
@@freevideos051 @freevideos051 I think I saw your post about this in the FB group.
If not it is the same issue. I'm really sorry all of that happened and I hope it gets made right
Regards 🐾
@@RustyRoads Yea I really liked the bike when I could ride it. This is a safety issue and I am not backing down into they make it right.
@@freevideos051 I agree with you stance ✊🏾
I hope a resolution is found soon 🙏🏽
