I wonder , is it possible to assume could one use ketone strips to test if you've you've been training in zone 2 and extrapolate from that?
I've hit 203 after a long run and a hard dash at the end.
Why dont you talk about Karvonen,BTW i don't see how you figure your maximum heart rate at 255 ,that's weird !?!
Which should I calculate 180 - age or 220 - age??
none of these are accurate
Look up Heart Rate Reserve method. Need your max and resting heartrate (at night, over several days).Newer Garmins will calculate zones based on HRR.
