    So true that Northerners are more friendly. Take a train from London to Edinburgh and see how most people in London don't speak to each other and as the train goes further North people get friendlier and chattier.

    Just want to say that the phrase "pop his clogs" comes from the north of England, particularly Yorkshire where people in factories wear wooden clogs as footwear. It is NOT from southern England I believe.

    Engine clogs made me laugh 😂 that isn’t where the phrase came from marra. Also ‘radgy’ isn’t used like that, you’d say ‘he was being radge last night’ or ‘he’s being a proper radgy, charver’
