If it's worth money just self file and sell licensing, also there's no proof of concept needed to file. Why bother applying?
There's NSF funding that's way better if you have something novel and you dont have to fly over there.
But hey, change my mind.
@williammorris1763 Have you ever gotten a licensing deal? They are quite complicated. And while, yes there is NSF funding, and yes, they can pay much more, you also need significantly more experience to get to the top of a NSF Grant push, it is often not for the first timers. But hey, you can do both, so why not! And you don't have to fly over there, it can be done remote. But I do feel like most people would fly across a country for $10k+ but that is just me.
