Great unboxing! It made me decide the color of the case, I was between this one and the silver one, but I believe the starlight one matches the starlight solo loop better.
I am still a little bit undecided about the size of the band though. 🤦🏼

Thanks! I’m glad my video helped you decide on the color. As for the band size, I understand your concern. I can only say that I used a tape measure to get my wrist size and entered that into Apple’s band measurement tool, and the recommended size (the lower size if you get two sizes suggested) does seem to fit me well (the larger size for a more relaxed fit feels too large to me). If you buy directly from Apple, you can return if the band size doesn’t suit you (however, you may have to return the watch itself as well, unless they changed that from last year). Hope that helps and good luck deciding!

Thanks for the video. Much more helpful to see it in non perfect studio lighting that Apple photographs in.
I’m pretty pale and have pink undertones and after your video I’m thinking of pairing this starlight case with a dark elderberry purple band.
Also thanks for sharing your wrist size. My wrist is also 7 inches. This will be my first Apple Watch so it’s so incredibly helpful to see this.

I’m getting my girlfriend the cellular series 8. (Starlight )I told her to try to use the watch often more in public than she uses her phone as it could possibly help in case she feels uncomfortable in places or raves or where your around alot or ppl where you don’t want to pull out your phone. & where she feels like someone’s following her she can discreetly call 911 or me. Others may see its not worth it, but if you’re a female I believe the cellular model is DEFINITELY worth it! 😀

Makes sense. I also think the siren feature of the Apple Watch Ultra is a useful safety feature in case you need to draw attention to yourself and/or try to scare someone away. Of course, not all females will want to wear the larger Ultra. Great job getting a great gift for your girlfriend 😊
