I’ve had such bad luck fishing in real life that I bet I’d somehow manage to play a whole game of this with an empty ice chest. But it’s worth noting, that was a great tutorial.
Wow this looks like lots of fun! I LOVE the visual style, too. Really nice aesthetic with the boards, fun little wooden pieces, and splashes of vibrant color. I'll definitely be looking into this one more. Thanks for the video!
CORRECTIONS: 17:34 - The fish tile was illegally placed on top of an ice cube icon. 49:39 - You are NOT allowed to sell scrap tokens. Only fish tiles taken from the ocean can be sold back to the boat captain! 52:52 - You are NOT allowed to sell scrap tokens. They can discard it and gain nothing for it, or place it into their ice chest. 54:13 - They should have gained $6, not $5.
Hi Jon, this game seem to bé very interesting like "light Odin" 😁 ... I just want to point out that I think you accidentaly cover an Ice cube with the red player in the second round at 17:35. Fab
This was everything I had hoped Fleet (the card game) would be, in theme and actions--love those chain reaction benefits! Really interesting! Can't turn down a good contract fulfillment game. I imagine green would have won... not you :/
Small correction, but I think around 17:30 you accidentally cover an ice cube with your fishing action. That being said, this game actually looks awesome. There’s a certain itch the game Fleet gave me that the dice rolling mechanic didn’t scratch, and I think this tile mechanic might scratch it for me instead.
I somehow hate the money tokens. I would have preferred the coin shape instead. Also, fishing will be more fun if we draw randomly from the bag. Just like irl, u can never know which fish will jump into ur trap
So far you are the only person to mention them since I stopped putting them out. I have some reasons for stopping and I'll discuss them in an update vlog coming out later this week. Sorry about this, even though some people like you enjoyed them it seemed like they were overall quite unpopular and seemed to be hurting the channels numbers overall.

Love when this trio works on games together! Thanks for the great tutorial and play through

Your playthough style is especially suited to these type of games(in my humble opinion),and i will be getting this one as a result.

True, they could have given them a light blue hue to them.
Thanks Jon! As always you’ve done a fine job and I’m continuing sharing your videos and recommend you for your teaches!
Thanks for making this contant. I always love the way you make your tutorials.
Love the tutorial! This games looks great

Yeah, I did mess that up. There should be a correction for that mistake in the Klingon subtitles. I'm glad you liked the tutorial :)

52:50 you may not sell
scrap to the boat captain (page 10 rule book)
Good catch! I've added a note at this point as well as a couple minutes earlier when I mentioned that green would plan to do this illegal action.

Yeah, I did mess that one up at 17:30. Got too excited to place a big wierd piece I think :P
Great video as always Jon! Thanks!! I think the Green player should have got 6 money for their excess fish, not 5 at 54:16.
Thanks for pointing that out, I've added a correction.
25:40 when you corrected your mistake about adding the salmon to your ice chest, you forgot to raise your salmon tracker up by 1
Hmm, I think something is wrong with your timestamp. I don't see anything like that happening at 25:40.
My bad 25:24
Ah, actually I did track that Salmon. It happened at 17:08.

I miss the 3 minute overviews! Made me watch many a full-length video I would otherwise have passed on.

at 17:45, I think you covered an ice cube by mistake!
Good catch! I've added corrections, thanks.
Very thematic. Players fish until there are no more fish in the Ocean then everybody goes home. Seaspiracy...
54:14 They sold 2 herrings and 2 salmon for $6 but only got $5.
Good catch, I've added a note. Thanks!
30th!
