Just found your channel after you commented on mine! A lot of fun stuff on here, I'll binge watch it all!! I love the idea of a plow on an excavator. Moving that pile of snow would have been a lot of work with a tractor unless you have a huge loader!

Salut Joe!! Now there is a good use of the excavator!! But by spreading out your snow pile you will not win the 'highest snow pile' contest this year!! The excavator works great at winging back the snow banks off your lane though. That will keep your lane from getting narrow as the winter goes on. Take care!!!
Looks like the Excavator can handle the plow well but i would think it would be slower then your tractor LOL.But good in deep snow where the tractor may get stuck . Thanks for sharing
If you can’t pile the snow up high enough with that arrangement now Joe, you might need to move to a part of the world that gets less snow. Very impressive Joe. I had one of those minis on my Christmas wish list last year. It will be on there again this year
In the Laurentian mountains in Quebec where I live, I have to clear snow from the roof of the house and garage twice a winter. I then use my 3 ton excavator to move the snow bank away from the buildings. The excavator is perfect for breaking up this snow which becomes hard like ice. Once broken, I just have to blow the snow into the forest.
That excavator does a better job than I thought it would, but its really great at making room for the next storm, as you said. Living where you do, as sure as God makes little green apples , there will be a next storm.

Lol! If that snow bank gets too big, I'll run a loop of hot glycol from the boiler through that pile! Thanks!
