It’s well known by now that Bernie Mac was sick during the filming of this movie, but I think the most obvious sign that something was wrong with him judging by this particular scene is the fact that Floyd (the character) stayed onstage while Sam/Louis danced with the audience. I bet if Bernie still had the energy for it, he would’ve definitely been dancing with them.
This was an awesome movie! I stopped counting the number of times I saw it after 10 times before buying the DVD. the number now just keeps going up and the movie keeps getting better each time I see it!
