Jacuzzi Hot Tub Won't Heat?

- Having a Hot Tub, Spa, or Jacuzzi that wont work properly can be extremely frustrating! In this video I will take you through the step by step process to diagnose, troubleshoot and replace a faulty hot tub heater and element. If your hot tub runs the pumps but won't heat, then this is the step by step guide for you!
The Hot tub in this video is a Sundance Sweetwater Spas Bahia (Jacuzzi knockoff) but many of the troubleshooting principals will apply to a wide range of hot tubs or spas.
As always, exercise caution when working with electricity. This video DOES NOT constitute professional advice. When in doubt, have a licensed electrician perform this work for you.
Some tools you will require:
Clamp/Multimeter
Needle Nose Pliers
19/10mm wrenches (or combination wrenches)
Patience, and perhaps alcohol....

My hot tub is a 2000 jacuzzi. I have replaced about 70% of the innards. Almost all of the flexible pvc has cracked and been replaced. Currently battling death by 1000 drips. Everything is so brittle. Oh. And I built it sunken into the deck, so I feel your pain with access. Just can’t justify $7k to replace it.

Just know that once you've used it and got the links under control do a water change... Your arm/leg hair will thank you lol!
The info on the connectors on the edges was key. I got the camera swapped in about 45 min.
I tried a leak seal fluid on hot tub a couple times but it did not seem to last. May have been sprouting other leaks. Several of the small jets drip. As well as my filter box. Hard to find parts. And when I do they are $$$$
@@stephenchico2418 right on glad to hear you got it done! Yeah the older tubs do require a bit of TLC but once you get them right, you are good to go! I learned most of what I know by having to replace literally every part of mine lol!
