Unbelievable how well mannered these birds are! I can't believe what I've witnessed. This has truly put a smile on my face. I'm most of all happy, because you can feel the love that he has for his babies! And you know the birds love him too! The birds literally laid in bed covered up to listen to a Bedtime story! I've seen it all now.♥
There is a couple on tic toc who do spa days with their 3 cats, cucumbers over their eyes, really cute stuff, they just lie there, people yack about it being abuse, but cats do not let you just do crap to them they don't want, those cats love that shit.

Not a great deal in this case, they are young macaws, they like this stuff. It's when they get older that building/keeping the trust you built is more dedication.
@@ZeeNastee Thank you. I've never had the pleasure of handling a macaw. I personally don't love the idea of breeding them for the pet industry. They are so beautiful & seem happy but a bird that size & intelligence caged is heartbreaking for me to see. I'm lucky enough to live near a great bird sanctuary that is extremely selective with adoptions so they educated me very early in my experience. Hope these young birds stay happy and healthy.
I'm just guessing here but when you have many you probably only need to get one or two to lay on their backs and the rest will follow? They're very social animals :)

I have one that has lived with me 60 years and I feel guilty I do not spend enough time with her. very demanding and yes loving. but I also support wild birds with several feeders, water and different food. most now recognize me and are not afraid when I replenish their food. every day. they have become so accustomed to me they will land on my head or shoulders when I go outside to greet them. birds are very underrated.

I'm not only impressed by the true love and trust these birds share with their owner, but i'm also glad to see that there's a little flock of macaws and not just only or two, like most people own. Macaws are very social birds, like all parrots, and it makes me happy to see, that there are people in the world who give them what they really need.

Parrots are no ordinary bird. They’re in a category all by themselves. Feathered primates really. You have a lot to learn about them, all350 plus species.
I really doubt they actually sleep like that. I'm guessing this was just a skit for views, as unbelievably cute as it is. I think birds sleep on their feet generally, except the babies of course.
Of course they can. But it depends on the species, large birds only if TRULY safe which happens almost never in the wild. BUT smaller birds are on their back ALL the time. Look videos of love birds, HUGE amount of time on their backs playing they look like cats when they play. This went so far that their biology changed and their hind feathers shortened so they can flip within miliseconds because they lie arround so much...its really really sweet and cute to see. Really watch a view videos you wont regret watching, a love bird play with a pencil...like..ever.

He handfed these bebes from the beginning. All handfed babies are tame and attached to the one who nurtures them.

that is a man that clearly loves his pets and has dedicated a lot of time and devotion to their well being. Good job sir. I wish you a long and happy life. I have one that has lived with me 60 years and I feel guilty I do not spend enough time with her. very demanding and yes loving. but I also support wild birds with several feeders, water and different food. most now recognize me and are not afraid when I replenish their food. every day. they have become so accustomed to me they will land on my head or shoulders when I go outside to greet them. birds are very underrated.

I'm not only impressed by the true love and trust these birds share with their owner, but i'm also glad to see that there's a little flock of macaws and not just only or two, like most people own. Macaws are very social birds, like all parrots, and it makes me happy to see, that there are people in the world who give them what they really need.

Parrots are no ordinary bird. They’re in a category all by themselves. Feathered primates really. You have a lot to learn about them, all350 plus species.
I really doubt they actually sleep like that. I'm guessing this was just a skit for views, as unbelievably cute as it is. I think birds sleep on their feet generally, except the babies of course.
Of course they can. But it depends on the species, large birds only if TRULY safe which happens almost never in the wild. BUT smaller birds are on their back ALL the time. Look videos of love birds, HUGE amount of time on their backs playing they look like cats when they play. This went so far that their biology changed and their hind feathers shortened so they can flip within miliseconds because they lie arround so much...its really really sweet and cute to see. Really watch a view videos you wont regret watching, a love bird play with a pencil...like..ever.
