Hey guys, this video is one ove had planned for a while so I hope you enjoy it.
Let me know if there's any others you'd like to me to test in the future
Best video, thanks Jackson.
Thanks 🍻
Great video as always! Would love to see a review on the eclipse range. Been using the protectant and it has a great matte finish. Heard good things about the glass cleaner and bug and tar remover too!
Thanks mate, yeah I really need to pick some of that up to try out
Love your work as always, definitely an under rated channel
Thanks mate always appreciate you commenting 🍻
So true
Good video . May I suggest giving a tip about different orifices and ratios of formula to water mixture
Thanks mate, what would you like to know?
The 1.1mm orriface is the smallest so creates for foam if using a lower powered electric pressure washer like mine.
And ratios of water to product can greatly differ for different foaming shampoos so best to go off the directions on the bottle.
The most common ratio is 1-9 so 100ml of product per 900ml of water
Mate if I could make a suggestion. If you going to make a comparison between these sorts of thing you set a fixed time limit eg 10 seconds each. I notice some seemed to be sprayed for longer and and make sure they are all on the Iggy settings before you start so you don’t have uneven applications eg MJJC which you happened to vote the best. Try eliminate any variation.
Definitely a good idea and if I make a part 2 I'll try to keep it even
Great video. I think I'll stick to my Bowdens. Foams great and uses less product. When that dies I'll go mjjc. I have heard good things about the griots BoSs one. Has different internal tips so you don't need to mix soap yourself. But it's 145 delivered.
Thanks Charles, yeah the bowdens one is great and I only replaced it originally as it was leaking after a dropped it and wrecked the old attachment for my ryobi. Once I changed to quick release and bought a new adapter for it I found it still worked great.
I have seen the Griots one and it looks great but at the price I don't think I'd get one personally
@@EvolvedDetails yeh. Not worth it. 140ish just so I can be lazy. Great vids. Please keep them going
@@charlesbardforth6738 thanks mate much appreciated as always
If you have the budget, go for mjjc. It will produce great foam with even a cheapo low psi pressure washer. The waxit one is good as well but the foam is a bit runny
Hey There, just watched your video and thanks for the great info. I have a similar Ryobi pressure washer you have/had on the video. Can you kindly let me know where I can get an adapter from the Ryobi hi pressure hose (to connect) to a washer gun. Cheers
Hi I got them from ebay years ago.
If you check out magic mobile detailing they'll be able to sell you a kit with all adapters you will need
My first foam cannon was one of those cheap ebay ones. Worked well enough but after about a year I went to use it and found the brass body cracked. I can't say for certain but I suspect it took one too many knocks from falling over as with those tall narrow bottles it's a common occurrence. Replaced it with the Bowdens Own one which does work marginally better but with the wider bottle, I don't recall mine ever tipping over and is now a couple of years old.
Yeah the bowdens is much better and seems to last years even if dropped.
The only thing I'd prefer it had would be a wider neck
@@EvolvedDetails Yeah the neck is a pain trying to pour snow foam from their 2l bottle.
MJJC for the win, absolutely love mine, the foam is next level and that's using a little K2 pressure washer.
Yeah it's surprising how well it works even on a low psi cheap pressure washer
I just bought the mjjc one to to go with my Kercher K2 too lol it comes tomorrow I can’t wait to have a washing session
@@dylanthedyslexicvillain4294 you're going to love your washing session, make sure you crack open a beer afterwards too 😉
Great video mate, I'm getting one of those MJJC now for sure 👍
Thanks mate, you'll definitely be happy with it
Keep em coming mate you're killing it with these reviews 🙌
Thanks mate, glad you're enjoying them as I definitely enjoy making them 👍
Sorry for the stupid question but new to snow foam, where do you get the upgraded 1.1m orifice from please
You can get them from ebay or most detailing online stores
i need a replacement bottle to my old carCareProducts foamer which looks like the Cheapo Ebay one.
That makes it easy then
WaxIt doesn't sell their own Snow Cannons anymore, if you go to their website they are just selling competitors (apart from their garden hose version which all garden hose versions get terrible reviews) just FYI.
Also do all these snow cannons hook up straight away to your pressure washer? Because I'm about to go get an Ozito one from bunnings and I've heard stories of people needing different adaptors etc.
Hey mate yeah they now sell their NV branded one which ks waxits brand.
Mine hooks straight up using quick connent as I changed the pressure washer gun to that style
@@EvolvedDetails nice that should help a lot. This Ozito one seems unique with no adaptor so I'll Give that a try or take it back as the included foam cannon is garbage (basically just a stream of watery soap with zero adjustment options)
At the end of the day fellas, it comes down to the soap. Don't believe me? Let Evolved Details do another test when he actually takes out the orifice of each cannon and compare.
Unless they use something less than 1.1mm your ebay foam cannon that doesnt cost a fortune works the same way a 100 bucks one does.
Use a foam cannon soap, mix it correctly and you should get thickass foam.
I used the same soap which is a foam cannon soap, and all except the MJJC had a 1.1 mm oriface yet the ebay one had far less thick foam so it's not just the soap in my opinion
@@EvolvedDetails this is a myth that been around all these years yet someone no one had been able to debunk it lol...
Like we see many tests like your one, we see results and comparison yet no one figured out why and how does let say bowden does produce a much thicker foam while using less liquid? Maybe compare to ebay one...i think no one wanna break the pricey cannon lol
I'd recommend checking this video by car craft detailing where he's testing a few different PA lances to see which will be the one for a business to sell, as they provide different Foam and also empty at different speeds so it seems the thicker foaming ones do use more product faster

Can you please explain how you made that pressure washer into the shorter style trigger? Keep up the great content
Just replied to your other comment 🙂
So I've got the bowdens snow cannon, but I don't get this same shaving cream style consistency. I've got the same ryobi pressure washer and I've even tried some snow foams like hulk foam from mirch and still quite a watery consistency. Any advice?
Hi I'd suggest jumping onto ebay or Amazon and ordering a 1.1 mm oriface for the foam cannon and then it will make super thick foam
@@EvolvedDetails I thought that the bowdens cannon already had a 1.1mm but in fairness I'm only basing this off another video review I saw where some guy was comparing a cheap ebay cannon to the bowdens one and he then replaced the orifice of the ebay cannon to a 1.1mm to be on par with the bowdens. Although spoiler alert, it still didn't compare to the thick bowdens cannon foam 😅
I'm gonna try to flush the cannon out with some orange agent to see if it cleans up and residue and improves it. I also changed the adapter recently to a quick connect and wondering if that had an impact or not
What are the attachments you use with your pressure washer? Do these have an effect on the production of foam that you've seen?
Hi I just use a short gun and extension for rinsing, they don't make any difference
@@EvolvedDetails thanks for that info. Love your videos. Helped me try out some good products made in AU.
@@christosd1196 thanks mate I really appreciate that 🍻
Hey mate,
I have the same pressure washer and just bought a stubby wand. What are the QC adapters you have? I’m after a similar set up for the gun and pressure washer hose
Hey Brendon.
Sorry I bought the adapters years ago and all the links are no longer active and can't remember exactly what I got as took a bit of trial and error.
If you check out magic mobile detailing they'll be able to supply and reccomend what you need
@@EvolvedDetails appreciate that, thanks
Great vid mate 👍👍
Thanks mate I appreciate that
The Bowden's own is the best one combined with the Bowden's snow job. No products come close.
It's definitely a great deal, I'd say the waxit one is a good comparison as it also came with their snow foam which is what I used in the video
Honest opinion Jackson, how much difference does the 1.1mm make? Thinking of putting one on the Bowden's
It definitely makes it way thicker so better for lower powered pressure washes
@@EvolvedDetails yeah im not sure if you saw my post on facebook but i bought the ryobi just need to hook up my short gun, you reckon changing to the shorter gun and quick connect gives you more pressure or not really
No the quick release and short gun won't change pressure but will make it easier to use
New sub
Good work
Just reviewed the same foam cannon
Thanks mate, I'll go check yours out too 🙂
Hey mate what hose do you use for your ryobi? Any attachments eg quick connects
Hey mate I use the 8 metre ryobi hose from bunnings. And yes I have all quick connects which I sourced from ebay but took me a bit of trial and error to get the right adapters
Ah yes, Could you please point me in the direction for the adapters you have ?
great channel mate
Thanks mate
what pressure washer are you using bro ?
Hey mate I'm just using a cheap $99 ryobi pressure washer available from bunnings
@Evolved Details ahh cheers bro ! The 2000psi one it seems. We're you running the 1.1 or 1.25 orifice on the MJJC ? Thx again
Can you please explain how you made that pressure washer into the shorter style trigger? Keep up the great content
Hey mate i will have to make a video on it soon as I keep getting questions about it.
But I just bought the short gun from ebay and then got some adapters to make itball work.
Also got the upgraded 8 metre ryobi hose from bunnings
