I don’t know why I watch these videos! It just makes me disappointed in the level of fitting I get after driving over 2 hours to get to my closest fitting store! I’ll keep watching them though.
I just got fit as part of a team Titleist event and the GT line is the real deal. They 100% are better than tsr in feel, sound, dispersion, and distance for me.
TSR3 user here Recently retro fitted with a Hazardous Smoke Hulk Shaft Fitting is all well and good but after the stock shafts it's massive £££££££ for upcharge So what is the point in going to all that trouble getting fitted at Woburn when you are limited to a couple of stock shafts unless you are prepared to pay for a £1k club If I had bought my TSR3 with the shaft I needed I would have been paying £900...... And my preferred grip would add another £15 on... because obviously Titleist are broke and need to charge extra for a MCC Plus Four
Hulk shaft is £150 so dont know where you get £900 from, people can buy an older TS for eg if they want to save money, but plenty buy new with upgrades etc hence why the manufacturers charge what they do, people keep paying, they will keep upping the prices.
Keep your upgraded shaft, save the stock shaft from the new one, put it on the TSR, sell it... Simple. Titleist hasn’t changed the hosel format in years…
If you already have a titleist TSI or TSR driver You would have to be out of your mind to buy a new GT For just a step or two More distance. It's funny every year The new drivers come out they always say they're better than last year's They would make good car salesman. Just a thought !!!!
You realize there are people who buy drivers every 5 years or so…. That’s me. So I like to see the new tech in drivers year to year, but I don’t buy new drivers every year.
The GT looks incredible, but embargo until September. Then why buy, because in January every other manufacturer launches their new incarnation, next Feb/Mar will be busy for fitters
Titleist is on a 2 year cycle… usually, they aren’t released until even later in the year. This year they allowed the public to see what was going on, officially, as they released them on tour. It’s actually earlier this year… if you don’t want one, don’t buy one… but certainly isn’t an “embargo”. It’s called Titleist… been this way for years.
It’s a fantastic facility but it’s £500 for a fitting. Now I’m a huge Titleist man but that’s to dear when the likes of yourself get it for free and other influencers.

They only see tour guys. Your swing looks abysmal
Go to ROC golf. Your treated like a pro and class facility. Get a cheap flight. Trust me, it’s worth it!
Great facility. But it's no wonder some folks think golf is for rich people only.
Hard to imagine it can be that much better than the TSR, if at all.

I noticed that most RUclips golf pros hit their 1 year old TSr as good, or better, than the new clubs by other manufacturers.
