I think the key to that is constant change. no two Primal Scream albums are ever the same. they've gone from jangle pop, to hard rock, to electronica and back again.
This will be my new song of the summer. There is a sort of elusive allure, a beauty, in these melodies, but different. It flows like some old classic that hasn't been heard for 15 years or more....Love it.
I love the song opening with backing vocal. Nice flute said the vicar. Nice orchestra score - tasteful. Drums highest instrument in the mix - swinging sound. Guitars at 4.52 - also subdued - then back to the orchestra. Some stage, I will need to get a translation of the final words. Nice work Mr Scream
A new Primal Scream LP is always gret news. Now, you don't come for a gig to Barcelona, we go up to Glasgow and do you a corbata colombiana that will fit Bobby's suits 😅 Viva l'amore 🇮🇹 and no pasarán 🇪🇦
Just ordered the black + red vinyl LP's. Had the test pressing in my bascket too but every time I went to place the order it got rejected 🥲eventually it listed the test pressing as out of stock. Can't wait to listen to the Album though.
@@whiiteshirt7192 This month's, as well as next month's album allocation. On a budget & they're just getting too pricey. Having flashbacks to the early 80's cut-out bins.
Great track! Like Curtis covering Miss You. Ace to dance to. Cool arrangement, wicked playing from Innes, as usual. Very cool, albeit possibly too busy in the mixing. The spoken word section idea must be Holmes', kinda like the brilliant Noel-G track It's a Beautiful World. Would fit well next to Uptown, & Chase It Down. A hammond organ might have been cool (viva Duffy x). I just hope Simone is actually on the album as she's yet to be on a Scream album, and she's been with 'em since 2012!!
Is it Simone? She has a beautiful voice - check out her recent performances with jamc. She duets on Sometimes Always, just like honey, venal joy among others
I'd never call BF a mess. I absolutely 100% love Over & Over (a heartbreaking cover), Uptown, the non-single mix of Glory of Love, Necro Hex Blues. On More Light; 2013, Tenement Kid, Walking with the Beast...most of all I really rate Nothing Is Real / Nothing Is Unreal, which should have been an era-defining Scream single. Chaosmosis fell pretty flat though. Good lyrics , bland songs, and just poor mixes. I Can Change, Golden Rope (the Jagz Kooner mix) and the stunning Mantra For a State of Mind all ticked my boxes from that period. Bloody rubbish album cover! Notice how Bobby has been on most of their covers since Throb died? I also think Utopian Ashes had some great tracks on it, and that really was a Scream album in all but name. I feel more strongly about Spiritualized's decline in quality albums. Happy that both bands are still around though.
You don't expect bands that have been going for 42 years to write new songs this good. This is cool.
Primal Screams? 42 years? No way at all!
Where I was during all that time???
I think the key to that is constant change. no two Primal Scream albums are ever the same. they've gone from jangle pop, to hard rock, to electronica and back again.
Chaosmosis is one of ma faves. They always outdo themselves
@@CasimirLeYeti Formed in 1982, Sonic Flower Groove released in 1987, so technically, yeah.
ボビーは天才だ。何歳になっても常に新しい。自分のしなやかな感性を形にしている。最高のバンドと一緒に、また日本へ遊びに来てほしい。
David Holmes and the scream is perfection
So soulful,so Mayfield,so seventees
Groovy, funky, love it. I'm a Primal Scream fan since Velocity Girl and this was in 1986 😂
man, you've been there from the beginning! huge respect❤
Do they play Velocity Girl live or have they disowned it?
@@TausifKhan-yz3hq Idk, maybe they will play it next tour/concert.
More soulful Primal Scream, reminds a me a little bit of The Style Council.
Curtis Mayfield too! So good. 🎷🎸🎤🥁🎻💃🕺
I agree
I thought a more lucid less sloppy Happy Mondays in the era…smooth soulful. Damn, Bobby.
Totalmente!!!
Curtis Mayfield likes this. And so do I!
This is the song of the century.
Everyone must hear this song.
This song means the world to me right now

What? Get Lucky by Daft Punk is already the sound of the Summer, that slot is taken.
@@sratusPossibly, but this is my song of the summer..:)
This deserves a James lavelle rework or at least a remix by jagz Kooner . Dope .
“Got to be a loose fit “ vibe about it , cool tune love it
最高すぎてびっくりした! 聞いただけでこのバンドだと分かる雰囲気というか、プライマル節が最高なんやわ
Screamalicious!
Bobby team plays style council , baggy vibe and on top with Curtis Mayfield
What a perfect combination!!!
We're lost and we need direction, praying for a love insurrection
Only yesterday i had a PS bingle listen thinking its been w hile since the last new music and here we go!
Bobby is the king ❤
Curtis Mayfield vibes ❤
Amen brother
Quality 🎸
Great comeback, powerful lyrics!! I have the pleasure of catch them live on Mexico City 2015 ❤🔥
Bobby has always had his finger on our musical pulse.
Just a shame he couldn't put his hand in his pocket for Duffy and his family when they needed it.

Beautiful ❤️ a song with a meaning! Tough to find these days but Primal Scream never disappoint! Congratulations!
Hope the rest of the album measures up.
We should have listened to the hippies. Thank you, Primal Scream ❤❤❤

Already hit my LP quota for the month. Wish you were here.💙
Which month? The album is out in November.

More Scream I gotta purchase!
Just great Music. Guys 62 and right on the nose. Yep! Im having this!!!! x
She will b as the band now consists of Bobby Gillespie . Andrew Innes. Simone Butler. Darrin Mooney. And additional keyboard/organ player terry miles
That doesn't mean Simone & Darrin will be on the album.
Yeah Primal Scream come back with a banger 🙌🏽
Best song hes ever written x
Class & quality are permanent ..................... The Scream never (ever) disappoint !!
Never😂
Tell that to those affected by PS greed.
Bobby has found his funk again ... I can't wait to see him getting down to it with Micheal Portillo and Andrew Neil
Bobby really has found his funk again!

Imagine what the lord sabre himself Andy Weatherall would have done to this............!!!!
Oh wow he'd have made something beautiful alright. He's such a loss. ❤❤

so true! we can't let The Lump win!!!!
BG is a hypocrite.
His 'values' are non existent.
Its called being fake.
They preach one thing, but their actions say otherwise.
Usual catchy cool vibes tho I hope there are some stones stooges inspired gee-tar Rock and roll on the new album
Greatness
Very nice, now I want the remix.
KOOL!
Track of the year so far .. absolute banger .. 🔥🎵🔥
No pasarán 👌
Do love a scream comeback tune. Kowalski, 2013, its up there for me. Quality!!
With respect, you can't put this or 2013 in the same category as the transcendent glory of Kowalski! Such hights have not since been reached
New album? Great
Please Bobby; Upload The album Chaosmosis to digital plataforms
