Mineshaft: the best track! Black out is a really fun mechanic in this game.. the heartbeats are you cue and it makes a lot of sense in direct versus racing, not timetrialing, because you have a very skill based risk-reward mechanic. You can also push negative G to redout first and then apply more positive G without blacking out.. it is all about entry and exit. The game was best with equally skilled racers live racing, but few are in it anymore.
"you see the thing I did wrong there is I HIT the WALL" lmfaoooooo also if you really want to know if you had a close call... its possible to tap the wall/ground (with the belly of the plane) and only take some hull damage. I have only survived that about 3 or 4 times in 6 hours of gameplay though
@@excrubulent yeah the wing clips are a no-no. It's a shame there apparently aren't a lot of people out there who like hot lapping... idk about you but I keep finding myself in the top 100-200 on tracks (ok. Not on infrastructure because I hate those fans so much lmfao) ... your flying looks pretty smooth so I imagine you can get up there pretty easily too.
@@jakez5467 I was in the 1300's for the first track, 500's or so for the second, then Infrastructure I was in the 60's, but I guess I should go back and try the earlier levels again now that I've learned a little more.
@@excrubulent east bay is super optimised, so having to push a little harder to get a better leaderboard position makes sense. Enjoyed the video btw! 🙃

I can see how it might be better in multiplayer, yeah.

Lol, yup, that definitely happened. When I'm saying "it's fine, it's fine, it's fine," then, "bonk", that was a wing clip I'm pretty sure.

@@jakez5467 it really is a shame. We’re a rare commodity. 😔
It's made by one developer
Yeah I found this out by the time I got to the end of the video. It's pretty good for only one person.
