2:20 completely agree
😳
Hey l am just starting my journey in satisfactory so you have blown me away with what you did well done
0:26 in and he drops the key to the game!
Wow. I have to applaud the skill, even though I don't need space that badly. I assume it fills up very quickly thanks to the balancers though, that's nice. I just started using the Blueprints, and made a simple manifold with 10 smelters at 90% clock (27 i/min) to fill a Mk3 belt, and that's good enough for me.
Oh hey, on the topic of trains: I find that having a train make a 180° turn after a trainstation to make it go back in the direction it came from looks quite messy. It gets even worse when I have multiple train stations splitting of from- and merging to the same incoming/outgoing rail. Any tips on how to make that look good? Hope I didn't phrase it too terribly lol
I have a few approaches, depends on the scenario. You can use a straight section to move up or down one level to clear the adjacent tracks, then two 90-degree bends and back up on another straight, then merge. You can also combine the 90-degree bend with a height change - they accommodate the transition pretty well. Usually doing the height change by going flat-to-flat, where the ends of each segment are on a level surface, usually looks the cleanest. This is one situation where working with the grid can be very helpful, although I find I use a lot of 90-degree beams to map out the turns. Also though, train turns are just big, so they'll always take up a fair bit of space. I found I had to just learn to love the big ol' turns. Also look into roundabouts, they're a pretty elegant solution.
I'd love to see your take on compact assemblers and manufacturers! Also, the brief view of your 4-4 balancer in a previous vid inspired me to make a design myself, and dare I say it takes up the same amount of space as yours ;)
Nice work! Although I definitely have an assembler video, it should be on my main satisfactory playlist :)
Good info and an entertaining montage?! How dare you captivate my weak attention span! 😜👍🏻
I make videos I want to see, and I have little patience for slow tutorials, so I guess my audience is going to be similar ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Welcome!
Perfect! Thank you, very much.
Am annoyed at myself for really digging the incoherence. Like I know I didn't miss five videos but it still feels that way.
Thanks for the tip! Now I am obligated to go back and fix my slightly not perpendicular sloped railways.
I dont usually comment, but I wanted to say thank you! I'm a busy parent who loves Satisfactory, but I was getting overwhelmed by both the scope of the game, and that I had no good way to refactor my factories when demand needs increased. Stumbling across your initial videos about stackable building, compact balancing, and general extensible design has gotten me from struggling with tier 5 all the way to 8 and half way through the space elevator to unlock t9. Shit's been hard recently, and its been nice to have a game to fall back to after a rough day. As for your yet-to-be revealed launcher design, that sucks. Editing is rough! Finding a better design at the end of a video must have been more than a bit crushing. It's cool that you're still going to release a video on the topic! Great work and good luck!!
Yup, definitely will, it is in the pipeline! And I'm glad they've helped, this is probably the main thing I want - to help people find the fun in this game without getting hung up so much on the pain points. I'm a parent too, I know how much work it can be and how important it is to find good away time.
2:03 is that a goddamn Community reference?

3:55 Crusty plays Satisfactory
Something to replace my regular cyclotrons? It's my primary mode of transport, currently.
I would wait to see if the devs will patch it out, personally, but we can only wait and see I suppose lol.
I use what I call a turbo hypertube cannon that runs off a single solid biofuel in a bio-burner. If you aim it too high, it will yeet you into space, definitely past project assembly...go into god mode if you want to poke around. It will launch you from Green Fields near the void all the way to the cliffs above Red Dune Desert. Is that what you found out? It uses an offset to bounce you back and forth until you fly through the one entrance and into the yeeter.
Not quite, it's... actually extremely simple and jank at the same time, but the new version is less jank. It runs on a single entrance. I definitely use the biofuel method for dropping down portable launchers when I'm exploring though.
Jesus, that singing voice at the end. You are one hell of a singer!
Thanks, I wasn't sure whether to include that but my philosophy is just to try stuff and see what works. Glad you liked it!
An AMAZING tool I just learned is that you can put down a foundation onto the beams, put a 2m ramp onto that foundation, and then zoop it a lil. then put a beam onto the ramp and aim the end point in diagonal mode so then it will always be the correct angle. Works wonders for limiting slope.
I used to use this complicated blueprint for my truck station logistics. If I was in the business of making videos, I'd probably have at least 4 videos titled something like "NEW IMPROVED DESIGN" from all the iteration I've done on something as simple as logistics. Not at all surprised you're scrapping content when you're discovering things and making videos on them instead of just making videos on content already on the wiki!
Lol this is my blueprints folders for sure. Assmblr_x3_v4.2_final_FINAL 😂
That supercut was one of the most relatable things for folks who look for innovative solutions in Satisfactory.
Quik mafs
Recently learned signals but hated my long foundation aligned tracks that felt blocky. And the elevating spiral I made has an up and down wobble I hate. I had accepted it because I wanted trains for carrying resources. I've since build another station and used this technique to wind the track down under the foundation, through a short valley to a cliff-side, out along the rounded opening to the cliff following the curve, back to level and over a waterfall top, up into a forest and down through a natural valley towards a lower canyon where I'll put a roundabout or something. My original plan was a long straight track ledge along the north canyon below the spire coast. I feel like instead of me working with the track, I finally have the track working for me. This is amazing.
This is fucking psychotic I love it
Instead of typing "hexadeca", I put "4x2_" which tells me 4 machines on 2 floors, if it were just a single floor I'd omit the number after the x. Titles are short and sweet while descriptions are long and detailed. Imight be a good idea running & documenting the block at different clock speeds to get the various power & resource demands, say at 59%, 100%, & 250% both slooped and unslooped.
Been struggling with trains for a while now. Got a nice station in my main "city", but could not find a good way to extend it out around the world. Tried many different designs with foundations on a grid and it just did not feel right. I could make straight sections that looked good, but as soon as it came to turns and inclines it just didn't work. This is absolutely amazing.
This man is a true maniac who feels he has to clarify he can count after making a contraption that would take the smartest player still days to accomplish 😂
Yoooouuu!!!
oh this is so helpful! I'm gonna try this out so much later :D i knew there was -some- logic to how the curves worked but now it makes much more sense haha, thank you!
Now this is how you explain something. Nice job!
If I don't have the hover thing and I don't want to cheat/mode Fly is there a good way to make the railway parallel with the beam? I'm finding myself having to point off the beam to achive it, that means I can't place the rail perfectly parallel. Am I missing something?
It will be much slower, but it's easy to forget that you can just build extra scaffolding to stand on. I have fallen a long way many times because I forgot this basic thing. Also I have a follow up showing an easier way to do beam extensions that you can do without having to travel all the way to the end of the beam like this method does: ruclips.net/video/yqXbOH0wsBU/видео.htmlsi=WOEoeeV6cv8Pdq_T Nowhere near as many people saw it though, the algo didn't pick it up as much.
This opened my eyes to what is possible. Now I need a good way to funnel things around to my giant towers of assemblers.
Genius 👏👏
I have just gotten into trains and was really struggling to find a good way to be happy with the results. I'm so thrilled I came across this video when I did, you saved me dozens of hours of future frustration with this technique. Absolutely genius work here!
Chaos and clipping is the way thank you very much
I would never tell you you were wrong; I'd be too scared.
Would watch this channel all day for tips
Short question, cos I cannot find it anymore: How to put 2 inputs into a Industrial Storage Container, so the second above is free? I know I saw it anywhere in your video(s) but cannot remember where. It is important for me, when I place a train station below the floor and want two outputs (train) into one single input of 2 from a huge container. Hopefully you know what I mean? Thanks in advance! ♥
If you're talking about the part where I connected a container to a train station, that would the SURPRISE MINI TUTORIAL section at 24:29. I hope that helps, if not, I'll need a little more detail to answer your question, but happy to help!
Analytic geometry lection just for smooth rails in the game! Internet is an awesome place.
I started using this technique and I have to say, my life has gone from, meh I need to lay rail to Ooo I can make it go through that little area easily.
4:13 to 4:55 makes me think you have a SEVERE case of ADHD, like myself! 🤣 Keep up the good work man!
I have a terrible idea that just may drove you mad.......using your compact building methods, how much of a factory could fill up an entire mk3 blueprint designer
My trains are all under the map. Yh. You heard me. Flat fkn foundations under the map. None of that elevation bs. Also comes with the added bonus that you can make absolutely heavy trains without losing any efficiency on slopes.. so imma keep doing that for factories. HOWEVER, your method makes beautiful train lines, fabulous for decorating. Thank you.
