I have one but full of rust. Was offered $80 as is but couldn't let it go. I'm in Canada if anyone's serious about looking. They are rare. Shipping is the problem with the weight.
I just put B- to the body of the horns and B+ to the terminals. It's wired backwards and using 12v (just makes it louder) instead of 6v but it still works great.
Running 6 volt positive ground horns on a 12v negative ground system will just make them work in reverse and be louder. At least that's what I've been told. I have had mine hooked up to a 12v system for a while now and they seem to be just fine.
Nice job on the horns, I put mine in the same place, I use as seen on the internet air horns. I'm building a 71 D-100 Long bed. Snappy 318 la with 727. Like your videos on the ole pick up Central California watching
So I have to confess I just finished my horns exactly like yours today and put them on my truck. However I did not use the amount that they had I just reeled holes in a piece on my truck and mounted them to it. All excited I hit the button and the fuse blew I got a feeling I can't melt them like I've got them that's why I was asking how you wired yours
That's bad ass, my uncle had one of them in his old truck, lotta fun we had with them when i was little, makes me wanna have one now lol😂
I have one! lol...in Canada.😢
Most of these horns had a relay. You can run the horn with your existing horn with a rely. Great Job! I'm restoring these types of horns.
I have one and want to remove the rust. Any ideas? It's pretty rusty and old. Still has the relay. Rusty too

Keep up the good work. Nice job on the horns
Really enjoyed that man, those horns are cool as shit, now I am gonna be on the hunt for some hahaha
To be honest if they weren't orginal Mopar horns I probably would have just cleaned them up and sold them but since they are i couldn't resist.

I just wanted to know how to do the wiring but I couldn't see how you did it so anyway.....

Can these be mounted on the outside of your vehicle?
Probably so but I like them better in the engine compartment
I was wondering about weather rain! I have 21 and 17 inch horn's going on 2003 dodge van! So space might be an issue.
As long as the horns are mounted at least level or pointing down a little bit it should be fine
