    How to reduce protein in the urine - These are general knowledge for information purposes only.
    1. Make changes in your diet(preferably plant-based)
    2. Manage your weight ( lose some lbs if you need to or maintain your healthy weight
    3. Consult your doctor for possible treatment of underlying medical condition like high blood pressure and
    4. management of diabetes if any. There are medications that control protein leak.
    5. Lastly, hemodialysis. This may be the last possible way

    My doctor mentioned to me that protein in urine doesn’t come from the protein we are eating. Albumin is a protein that’s produced by the liver. It’s normal to have this protein. In a healthy kidney some albumin will go right through the kidney filter but before going into the bladder it gets reabsorbed into the blood by the kidney pumps. If the kidneys are damaged, some of the protein will seep down to the bladder. Mine was at 300. He said this does not hurt having it leak. However, it’s a marker to show that the kidneys are not functioning optimally. He didn’t offer to put me on any drugs. At least not yet. He did mention that this condition is almost always caused by high blood pressure that was left too long uncontrolled. He said it’s extremely important to monitor your blood pressure preferably daily. It is critical to keep the blood pressure in the normal range to avoid further damage to the kidney. Stay away from added salt. Salt is really good at causing blood pressure to rise. Those meals from HelloFresh for example have spice packages that are often loaded with salt. You might think it’s healthy but the salt content makes it unhealthy. Stay away from processed foods as they are generally loaded with salt. This was the advice I was given yesterday from my family doctor. I thought I’d pass it on.

    Bye !
    Looks, you are not Doctor, but very honest to upload your experience to the humanity, appreciated.
    You at stage 2,3 since 13 years, looking at you , you are below 35 , and wel maintained your problems, proteinuria.. etc, with the help of genuine doctors, congrats.
    1. All over relying , on allopathic medications and thinking for haemodialysis or else is not the perfect way to overcome the so called persisting CKD , which in case expected from patients with high creatinine or protine leakage.
    2. Pathological testing to ensure health is another thing, but getting panic and downloading hills of pills and reducing healthy diet to make yourself open to further complications due to side-effects, may be undesirable.
    3. Studies shows that creatinine is most unstable waste and changes with seasons and various reasons.
    4. Proteinuria, foamy urine the reason to lead towards Pathological tests.
    Protine intake is unavoidable, also controlling diet for that is tidius, undesirable too.
    5. The living body , the metabolism, defense mechanisms and variations in dietary desires are dependent on various factors including changes in climate too, which in general, neglected in the diagnosis.
    6. Testing every three months may be essential for serious patients, but only if creatinine is above normal and/or urine is foaming and you run in panic for periodic testing and leading your self to end up in dialysis is really....?
    7. Living body in itself is self recovering and hence called as doctor in itself,
    Let your self to recover itself
    Aamin....

    Hello, I honestly have: CKD-3b, diabetes type-2, insulin dependence, and hypertension as I am 71 1/2 years old as a retiree. Well I have discussed over issues about highly specialized diet offered by CDE-RD nurse and getting Dexcom G7 including Apple wrist watch with my nurse practitioner at Endocrine clinic under URMC in Rochester, New York so recently. I am considering about vegan diet or vegetarian diet or Mediterranean diet in careful selection in each choice. In a fact, I am the Second Generation Southern Italian American citizen who is Sephardic Jewish in my ancestral lineage. Well, I inform you that I am congenitally deaf since birth. Then I am the highly intelligent, well-educated Gallaudet University graduate with B.A. in double-majors of Biology and Chemistry in Class of 1981. And then I am extremely sensitive to the vibrating and visual environments in my real life. I have: COX-26 as recessive gene causing Genetic Deafness in my D’Auria Family Tree in Italy in my long family genealogical history. I am interested about “ Best Kidney Diet” videos that are closed- captioning as I listen to them in RUclips. Regards, Christa D’Auria

      @@franklebatista1091hi there wow 1 year ago i just saw the reply after rewatching this vid now. I did an ultrasound everything looks normal. But im borderline diabetic. I think the main cause for my protein leak is the diabetic. I still have protein in my urine. I havent taken a new test for this year yet. I will though and see if what im doing is helping so far with the herbal teas etc

    • @fteambjj
      @fteambjj 2 месяца назад

      @@anu2444hi there so sory. I just saw your comment after revisited this video after a year ago! I did take losartan but i stopped because i had bad coughs from it and always feeling so dry and thirsty. For me i think its because im pre diabetic and this is why i have protein leaking. Im currently drinking ginger tea with lemon, celery tea, nettle leaf tea, and "dan sheng" (red sage). Also beofre meals i drink apple cider

    • @fteambjj
      @fteambjj 2 месяца назад

      @@anu2444also limit pottasium and phosporus foods like tomato and avocado and spincah and such. When i eat those my foam goes crazy for days. So why i said dan sheng red sage. Its a herbal root and apparently it can help lower sugar level so when i eat right ( this is what i noticed for myself: not much carb, more on the meats and veggies, but also avoiding veggies that is high on pottasium and phosp) and drink all the tea's i mentioned above i can make either the foam/froth dissapear or there might be some to little foam if any at all after peeing. But yeah thats what i take. Also i take spirulina tablets, i take reishi mushroom, cordycep, and a few other muchroom (because its like 4or 5 in one pill). I mean hoe this helps but again i have no high blood pressure still to this day, my gout is controlled now because i dont feel the gout pain anymore, its just my pre diabetic thats my concern because two of my fingers are itchy and has turned black because i scratch it often. And i realised it becomes super itchy when i eat too much rice (being asian this is hell for me 😂 as we have rice everyday). Apple cider helps before a meal. Preferably half an hour before a meal. Look for Apple cider with mother in it.
      If you mom seems to have what i have maybe try it out. Oh also i occasionaly drink flax seed aswell.
      I'll do another test either end of this month if next month and if i can find this post again i'll let you know if its gone down for me.
      But you know whenever i see that my pee has gone good with literally no foamy froth i becomes bad at my diet and it starts again so i had to redo my clensing cycle. Oooh i also drink green tea. Sory forgot that one is important too. I drink at least once a day all of the above tea's. But most times i do 3x i havent found my cure yet but at least when i dont see foamy frothy pee mentally gets me sane and not stressed out😅

    I don’t understand, if you are leaking protein in urine that means ur body is loosing protein, so how you reduce taking protein replacing plant based?

    • @BestKidneyDiet1371
      @BestKidneyDiet1371  Год назад +6

      That’s a good analogy- eat more protein because you’re losing it in the urine. However, it doesn’t work like that. Protein is a mineral that’s hard for the kidneys to filter that’s why it goes in the urine. The less protein to eat, the better for kidney function . Eating more protein puts a strain into the kidneys

    What if your creatinine and eGFR are normal, yet, you still have protein in urine. Whats is wrong?

    • @walidhalawi9569
      @walidhalawi9569 2 месяца назад

      It could mean that there is something annoying your kidneys and you have to stop it before it develops into Chronic Kidney Disease. Creatinine & eGFR remain in the normal range during the early stages of CKD. If you don't treat the cause of attack on the kidneys's nephrons early on, u will start seeing creatinine elevations and GFR drops.
