we really had it SOOOOOOOOOOOOO GOOD in the 80's as kids....incredible music poured from the radio like a leaky pipe in the ceiling from a 2nd floor apartment....IT WAS CONSTANT
Most underrated rock band of all time! This song has been my ring tone for 15 years and I have made friends of strangers because of it. People that KNOW recognize that opening guitar run immediately and always comment! 🤘🏻
The Cult is an awesome band, they evolved over time but always sounded like the Cult. Their music is 80s but their own unique style that is parts Punk, Hard Rock and Psychedelia. They still are in my regular rotation, they were a great band then but timeless as their music still sounds great and alive. Do the official video for Fire Woman next to see them several years after what you just saw as they produced amazing hard rock on the legendary album, Sonic Temple. Huge Hit on MTV. Enjoy! 🔥🎵🎸🎤🎸🎶🔥
Wow. My first time in your channel and you really impressed me with your reaction to this song and your depth of thinking. I really get the feeling you are an old soul. I’m looking forward to hearing some of your other reactions.
Iconic group. Slew of bangers. They went through many phases. I would suggest by them the hit "Love Removal Machine" - that is an anthem in clubs for sure.
Ian's got the moves 👍 Ian uses a lot of spiritual influence in his music including Budokan and Native American. FYI: first they were "Southern Death Cult" then just "Death Cult" then later "The Cult"
Love the enchanted look on your face as you watched this video and heard Ian sing? Love the Cults sound, it is very unique for sure. Rock you can dance to!
Back when I first saw the Cult Video's, I thought Ian Astbury was an Southwest "Apache" American Indian . Long black Raven hair and the song's they sang were spiritual and women based.
To celebrate The Cult's 40th year anniversary in 2024, Gretsch Guitars have released a limited edition "Biily Duffy Signature" White Falcon guitar. Iconic.
Super reaction!...Although i grew up with same time as The Cure i have only recently listened to a few of their songs. Great sound, creative, original and a terrific band. This is such a great song. Never ages. Again great band but for some people they are underrated, maybe due to so many great bands around at the time of the 80s particularly mid 1980s when this great single was released in 1985.
The Cult is a criminally underrated band. My older brother loved them and I got into them by stealing his records when I was a kid. Listen to songs called Love Removal Machine and Fire Woman.
went to see them in London at the Royal Albert Hall on the 4th of november almost a month ago , they are still great! Listen to Fire Woman and Love Removal Machine, you won't regret it.
The way you said the songs name made me laugh 😀 it's a tongue twister isn't it. Not sure I could say it without tripping over my tongue 😊 Thanks again!

Amen! i feel bad for the current [ Z Y ] generations ... very limited on originality, mostly electronic and very limited in the talent department

One of the best mid 80’s bands. Very underrated but awesome.
Love how you went from "huh?" to "oh, now I get it" in like 5 seconds.

I danced to this in early 90’s..they are great .
In the 80's this got everyone on the dance floor even in clubs focusing on dance music and stuff like that. You cant NOT move when this is playing.
Ian's got the moves 👍 Ian uses a lot of spiritual influence in his music including Budokan and Native American. FYI: first they were "Southern Death Cult" then just "Death Cult" then later "The Cult"

My friends band played this song at our High School talent show in 1986
I’m Old
Autumn 1987. tooling around the village in NYC with this blaring in myears. Glory days.
The CULT has always been one of my favorite bands since I saw the "REVOLUTION" video from this album, I think I was in Grade school
He's/ Ian is such a charismatic and original voice to me.
they were on here live (Brisbane) last night! - they save american rock at a low point
Your movement to the music was the naturally perfect response.
Absolute banger! Anyone who says different is a big fibber! 😊
Iron Maiden-Hallowed Be Thy Name,Live 1982
I never get tired of this song.
Ian Astbury…the best hair in the history of rock, maybe the history of man.
def a song for banging out in the car back in the 80s
'Love removal machine' or 'Lil devil' , when they got stripped back and went heavy. You'll not stop moving to these two !
Oh the live version of The Cult … Fire Woman. Very hot.
Great reaction love it
You have made such a good choice of songs
Last song that Nigel Preston [their founding drummer] ever recoeded with The Cult.
🤘🤘🔥

This river dancing Jack Sparrow can sing his ass off
Excellent review 🤘😎✌️
Revolution, RAIN, and PHOENIX are also great songs from this album
The way you said the songs name made me laugh 😀 it's a tongue twister isn't it. Not sure I could say it without tripping over my tongue 😊 Thanks again!
One of the best tunes of the 80's, huge floor filler when I was DJ'ing, and there was only one way to play this and that was LOUD!!!
The Cult ..the sonic temple 100% ..❤👍👍👍👍👍💥
Always felt these guys had a bit of a U2 sound. Loved them both.
THE ELECTRIC album, SONIC TEMPLE, and CEREMONY album have alot of great music too, I haven't listened to anything past CEREMONY

Sarah Shook and the Disarmers Neo/Alt Country
Jim Morrison clone 😎🇧🇻
He was pencilled in to play Morrison by Oliver Stone. And so was Billy Idol. But you can't deny it's a catchy song.
