So very good to see you're okay Angelica. Yes, not seeing the sun really affects your mood and over-all energy levels (I know how you feel - I'm currently 13 years into permanent night work). I do see the sun, but only very briefly before having to hunker down for sleep (or as much rest as I can get during the day). Hang in there lovely lady - we're here for you if you need us! 👍

Hi Angelica, Merry Christmas to you and your family. I loved it when you said “ it’s -33c a little chilly outside. I was feeling cold just watching it.stay safe out there.
Well.. when you are trucking 2-3 degrees latitude north of the capital of greenland. it does start to get a bit chilly.
I have only just discovered Angelica on RUclips and she makes me proud of my Swedish ancestry 🇸🇪🇨🇦! However, as someone who has worked in the pipeline construction industry all of my life I was embarrassed by the men in this video. Where was the planning and where was the proper safety attitude? You should never use tie down chains for lifting or towing. And, if you knew you were moving the dozer why wasn’t it under a parachute tarp with a Herman Nelson heater and a portable battery charger for a day or so? They nearly tore off the ripper attachment, tried to wreck an excavator, a rock truck and a wheel loader by yanking the D6 all over the place in -30C weather. Plus, who knows what they did to the frame and undercarriage of the dozer…
All that being said, I am so proud of Angelica! Always happy, positive and blessed with a great work ethic. Keep your videos coming “sotnos”! Sorry about the spelling but it’s the best that I can remember for “Sweetheart” in Swedish !💙💛❤🤍

Great work getting the job done. That was quite a challenge for even the most experienced heavy hauler! Glad you had help. 👍
Wow. That video brought back some nightmares. Be grateful it was only a D6 dozer. I remember winching a D7 onto a trailer, and it totally wrecked the trailer deck. We had to use 1" chain and two D8 to get it on. When I got to the shop they had hired a crane to just lift it off. When I went back for the frozen D8, they built fires under it for 3 days to thaw it out. MUCH easier to load once we got the tracks turning. Thank you for the video, I actually enjoyed watching it, mostly because I wasn't out there freezing with the crew. lol Hope you start feeling better as the sun lingers around a little more each day. Have a fantastic New Year.

I worked 8 years of my career in places where there was not a sunrise during the winter. I enjoyed every second of it, and suffered no Ill effects whatsoever. In fact, the colder and snowier it is, the better I like it. Right now in Fargo North Dakota todays high is -11 degrees Fahrenheit with a wind chill of -25. I went cross country skiing before dawn this morning for 10 miles and I am 71 years old. I think my family must have originated in such a place because I get along so well in that type of environment. I would trade places with you in a heart beat. My advice to you is have something to look forward to at the end of your day, eat your comfort food, and take a vitamin D supplement to make up for your lack of sunshine. Also, some short time under a sun lamp does wonders for feeling down. Daily thought, the sun eventually shines!! Be safe, be great!

Stay happy girl! I really like the stuff you do, I miss the LTL content. I was fascinated by how practical and functional the equipment is. Our stuff in Canada and America is Sooo archaic by design! FYI it is -30c in Northern Alberta, Canada today plus the windchill factor at -45. I managed to deliver a Dump truck box today 21 ft wide on a multi axle combination at 66,000kg gross weight.

Hi Angelica :) thanks for another great video! Knows that feeling of dark time. Spent 7 months in Bodø when I was in the military and that time without sun did something to me as a human being. Beautiful location! Fascinated by working in those temperatures like it’s no big thing. Yes it’s a bulldozer here in the states and a decent sized one at that. Completely understand the lack of energy/sadness due to lack of sun. Just winter shorter days are depressing here in the northeast and we still get sun. Have to get some bigger chains for next time!

I know they make a light that can be bought to give the equilvant of natural sunlight which could be helpful. A positive is the days now get longer. Alot of people in the northern US and Canada deal with short days with little sunlight. Just know please that it gets better with each day as time goes on. More sunlight will happen each day.
